How can I stop getting mass emails from iPage?

My first question is How can I stop getting mass emails from iPage? Hoping for any response. Another question on my mind: I need your help please..

1) I notice that during New Client Registration, the fields "Fax Number" contain my database name, and the "Password" field already contains a password - I don't know which. How can I correct this problem?.

2) In the Spanish "Bienvenido (Welcome) Email no client title "Seor" or "Seora" appears..

It also doesn't differenciate between sex - The "Bienvenido" Email says for example: Estimado Larroza, For a woman that should be "Estimada" and of course in both cases the Seor or Seora should appear in the Email..

The way it is now it is very rude..

Since my iPage website is mainly for Spanish speakers this is a major problem to me..

Your advise would be greatly appreciated..

Kind regards.

Gerard..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..

You might need to add a "Customer Title" contribution and then work out a way to vary the salutation depending on the title and add it into the code...

Hi,.

Thanks for the advice. I have corrected the Spanish Welcome Emails. Fantastic!.

The other problem relating to the Fax Number and Password fields appear in both English and Spanish sign up pages. Any idea on how to correct those?.

Kind regards.

The problems that STILL EXISTS ARE:.

During New Client Registration, when the form page opens, the field "Fax Number" contain data. In my case it contains my database name. How can I prevent my database name from showing up in the tax field?.

The "Password" field also already contains a password - I don't know where it comes from. How can I correct this problem?.

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't understand Spanish enough but you can edit the content of your oscommerce email in the language files which are located in the following folder:.

/catalogue/includes/languages/..
