Quick question: How do I activate Frontpage in iPage? Frontpage is in my computer.? Hoping for any answer. Second question.. Interesting problem I have encountered and after hours of research, have come up with nothing..

I'm in the process of moving my iPage website from a shared server in the USA to an Australian VPS server..

I have essentially copied everything through a full cPanel backup to the Aussie server..

Upon loading up the main page, everything looks fine. No errors or anything..

However if I refresh that main page (or click on a link within the site), I get the following error:.

Warning: require(includes/languages/.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/aminoz2/public_html/includes/application_top.php on line 297.

Warning: require(includes/languages/.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/aminoz2/public_html/includes/application_top.php on line 297.

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/aminoz2/public_html/includes/application_top.php on line 297.

To try to fix this above error, I went into application top and set $language = "english". This fixed this error, but brought about another error in application_top about something not being an object..

Considering that the page worked the first time, I am thinking that this has something to do with sessions? However I have absolutely no idea how to fix this issue..

By the way, the exact same website/database works perfectly on the other server - it has been cloned over to the Aussie one..

Thanks - any help is MUCH appreciated!!!..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..

Not sure what you mean by a clone, but usually the configure.php files need to be adjusted to reflect the new servers..

Who are you swapping to?..

Well by clone I mean that I generated a full backup from cPanel and then loaded it onto my new server. As it turns out, same server paths and everything..

Meanwhile, I am swapping from Lunarpages (shared server in USA) to Net Logistics (VPS server in Australia)..

Thanks in advance...

I've been playing around with it a little and discovered that:.

If I goto the iPage website and then delete the session data (in the mySQL table "sessions"), and then click on another page in the website, then this.

Error does not appear.

..

If I don't delete the session data in the mysql table,.

This error DOES appear.

..

However, the only exception to this is if I do delete the session data and click on the link to "account.php",.

Then the error will appear.

..

The fact that the error regarding "includes/languages/.php" is coming up would be because the session isn't being read correctly because the language variable information is being stored in the mysql table..

So I'm assuming that it's got something to do with the sessions. Could it be a different version of PHP at all? Here's the info:.

Old host PHP: 4.4.9.

New host PHP: 5.2.6.

Old host mySQL: 5.0.51a-community.

New host mySQL: 5.0.51a-community.

Oh and in addition to this, if I don't delete session data and goto account.php, the error still appears...

Update:.

I downgraded the new host to PHP version 4.4.9 (same as old host)..

The error remains!!! So hence I am slowly going insane over this issue. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.......

I have quad-drouple checked the paths in:.

/includes/configure.php.

Admin/includes/configure.php.

The paths are exactly the same as the other server because it was a clone.....

Any ideas?..
