That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..

Thanks for you help, I did search for over an hour but could not find anything..

I only posted as a last resort.

My question isnt how to change, but where is the "whats new here" text?.

Is it in the header?.

That link you showed didnt mention the 'whats new here' bit..

I just went though the english.php and there is no reference to the 'whats new here' text...

I can't find it either. The docs are very vague...

The location of the "What's New Here is dependent on the version of osCommerce you are using (osCommerce 2.2, Algozone, Ians Loaded, etc.) and what contributions you have installed..

I have not worked with a clean install for awhile, but if my memory serves me correct look under:.

Line 37:.

Define('HEADING_TITLE', 'What\'s New Here?');.

All of the copy for each individual page can be found in the appropriate file within your language directory. The file english.php defines some universal items such as the text that is associated with creating an account..

If you're new to osCommerce, spend some time in the forums and poking around in the code. Its FUN!!.

For a good look at what can be done with your site, take a look at.

Good luck and enjoy..

Yes that is where you can change it, at line 48..

I tried that before and the whole thing wouldn't work for me. It works now, so it's all good...

The first thing you need to do is read the docs, there is a link at the top right hand corner of the page. They will not answer every questions but it will give you a start..

The second is you should spend some time reading through a couple of days posts on the forum. You would be surprised at how much you will learn. I know I have seen this exact same question 3 or 4 times in the last day or so..

The third is Search is your friend.

How to make Text Changes..
