First question I have is How do I edit my http://www.iPage.com/metylman2006/giants_blue.html? Hoping for any response. Another question... I have installed the newest release and all was working fine then got this error:.

Fatal error: Call to a member function add_current_page() on a non-object in /home/site/public/Site1/Store/includes/application_top.php on line 312.

Line 312 is: $navigation->add_current_page();.

I never touched this file so not sure why it is now failing. Even though I never edited the file, I re-uploaded it and still get error.Ideas?.

Thanks..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..

Ok, will give it a shot..

I did get it to work but it is very weird. This is what I did..

If I launch the browser and go to the store it comes up fine then I hit refresh and I get the error or if I hit a button to go to another page. But then I just close the browser and delete temp files and re launch the browser and page and it is fine until I refresh it again, or if I hit a button to go to another page..

Ideas?.

Thanks.

This is an error that comes up regularly here and as far as I know it is triggered by an error in the shop. Something seems to go wrong with the serialization of the session and then giving this secondary error. If you make the session invalid by removing the cookie in your browser or closing the browser and restarting it this navigation error goes away..

Since it is still there it looks like the initial error is not fixed yet. Would be interesting to know what the error is because this navigation error (to my knowledge) has not been reproducable so far. That makes it hard to investigate and fix...

Hi Jan.

I was working on a iPage site and this kept coming up, restoring the database worked every time for me..

It happens usually when working on the iPage site and not a "just happened event".

Nic..

Comment #4

If you do a restore the sessions table is emptied. That has the same effect as clearing your cookie in your browser...

Comment #5

When I do a restore it takes me back to admin login screen and I have to re-login. Is this normal?.

I did the restore and still get the same error. At first the index.php page comes up but then as soon as I hit any button it gives me the error message..

How do you fix this issue?.

Arghhh.

Thanks.

Yes, because as I said above the table sessions is emptied. That includes the admin session...

Ok update to this issue..

I also uploaded the original column_left and column_right files and now all is good. But I still need to add in the items to column_left and column_right..

I am not sure why just adding one line of code in each is causing such an issue. This is what I have for column_left and column_right and the new php files they call to also..

Column_left.

Left.php.

<title>123</title><td>.

<img src="../../images/head_right_1.jpg" width="184" height="215" />.

Column_right.

<?php require(DIR_WS_BOXES_AZ'test.php'); ?>.

<?php require(DIR_WS_BOXES_AZ'specials.php'); ?>.

</object></noscript>.

</td>.

<?php.

}.

?>.

Column_left does show the image but nothing for column_right, and if I refresh the page or hit a button to go to another page I get the error I posted above in this post "Fatal error - application_top.php line 312...".

What am I missing here? I thought that it was an easy think to add another image or a flash file in either column. Arghhhh.

Please help..

Thanks.

For both of the column.php files is not the ?> closing the <?php?.

What do you mean by starting brace? I was told I just needed to have the image between <td></td> or maybe a table..

How do I fix the column_right.php and the test.php so it works?.

Thanks.

Ok I now have the column_left working fine. And the column_right is still an issue. I do not see any errors now but also it is not showing the swf file. This is what I have now for code:.

Column_right.

<?php.

$column_location = 'Right';.

?>.

<?php.

If (tep_session_is_registered('customer_id')) include(DIR_WS_BOXES_AZ'order_history.php');.

?>.

<?php require(DIR_WS_BOXES_AZ'best_sellers.php'); ?>.

<?php require(DIR_WS_BOXES_AZ'test.php'); ?>.

<?php require(DIR_WS_BOXES_AZ'specials.php'); ?>.

<tr><td></td></tr>.

<?php.

$column_location = '';.

?>.

Test.php.

<td>.

<script type="text/javascript">.

AC_FL_RunContent( 'codebase','http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,28,0','width','184','height','215','title','7','src','../../images','quality','high','pluginspage','http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash','movie','../../images' ); //end AC code.

</script><noscript><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,28,0" width="184" height="215" title="7">.

<param name="movie" value="../../main.swf" />.

<param name="quality" value="high" />.

<embed src="../../main.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="184" height="215"></embed>.

</object></noscript>.

</td>..

Comment #11

Ok, After some trial and error I got it to work..

But I would like to know how do I now link the image in column_left to a category I have same RC cars? I would like users to click the image and it takes them to that category or item..

Thanks..
