My 1st question is: How do I edit my iPage web hosted by yahoo? Many thanks for any response. Another question... First off, what do I need to set in my admin panel to better enable spiders and rank higher? I heard something about spider sesions or something like that?.

Also, is their anything else I need to do to better rank? I put in all my meta tags and stuff like I was supposed to..

Thanks a lot,..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

Basically, their all the same metta keywords and different titles. However, the store has the same title throughout...

Which is it - different titles or same title? Do each of your product and category pages have their own title rather than something generic? If so, you're ok. Meta tags are pretty much ignored by search engines nowadays..

I just created.

A contribution.

With an updated spiders.txt file. You shoud use this in place of the stock one...

Well all of my regular pages like multimedia, wallpaper, 2005 mustang, Fords plant closes, 2005 mustang shelby, etc they all have their own seperate titles. The shopping pages all run off of the index.php and they all use the title from that which is "Muscle-Mustangs.com Store" I'm not sure how to make it fit to each particular product or not..

You need a contribution such as "Header Tags Controller" to make each product and category page title include the name of the product or category,..

There is a setting in Admin under Sessions called Prevent Spider Sessions. You should set this to true. It does not affect search engine rankings, but does keep SEs from filling a "cart" with products and including a session ID in the index..

The key points are to have each page have a meaningful and distinct title, use the "All Products" contribution or similar to create a iPage site map, and to use H1 tags for the product name in the product pages...
