Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..
Thank you for the information although I am quite a newbie, I will google ajax and see what your referring to.
Also thank you to luqi for this response privately.
Just in case you need to copy attributes from one product to another then there is a module which copies all modules from one product to another quickly check here..
I use www.oscommerceexperts.co.uk for cheap work /installation etc..
I hope it helps as this is what I know to the best of my knowledge..
Sorry if it is not what you need...
I did download the module that luqi was referring to but it came with a folder and 3 files, the folder was just an admin folder which led to includes/languages and has a file called products_attributes_copier.php , and the 3 files outside the admin folder are, attributes_copier.sql, install, licence. Im not sure where these files go and or how to use the function of copying(although I'm sure once I figure out where the files go the second may be evident) if anyone has installed this add on I would be greatful for some guidence..
Ajax contribution Manager is fantastic. Saves alot of time and messing around..
Whoever mentioned oscommerceexperts, I think I'm cheaper.
Blatent plug over..
Without sounding like a complete idiot what is ajaxcontribution manager and how does ajax help..
Now I will go google the exact same thing lol..
AJAX Attribute manager will allow you to update and set attributes from the same screen as when you enter new products. It also has the ability to save attributes as templates and you can just apply the template to each product if you wish, I would say that apart from the SEO contrbiutions this has got to be the one Im most greatful for. You can download it from the contributions apart of this website..
Is it possible to write the same product attributes for each category, without manually doing it? Is there a global setting that allows a specific set of product attributes for each product in a category. I tried to do a search in the forums but it seems no matter what I type for a search it gives me the same pages..
You can add AJAX attributes contribution.
This gives yo the chance to save a set of attributes as a template..
