How do I install iPage and Wordpress on Godaddy Linux Hosting?

My first question is How do I install iPage and Wordpress on Godaddy Linux Hosting? Looking forward for any comment. Second question.. OK, February 2003 I started building my store, and it went live in April....

Today I took a look at my website, and when you click on the new products box, it displays products that were added in February 2003 - and I haven't added anything in February 2004 yet, so this area should be blank???.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this or where to look? I think it looks really bad for my customers to open the new product window only to find stuff from 2003 sitting there....

Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

Thanks Bear,.

I've already installed the contribution to only show the 'current' month new products..

It isn't showing any of the January 2004 products but showing February.

2003.

- so i'm not sure why it's calling info from a year back..

I've looked through the contributions recently, but take another look and see if there is anything else that may rectify this problem, but I'd assume I just need to adjust the code of the new products contribution to ensure it only shows current month and current year products?..

Haven't tested it, but this should only display new products added within last 30 days..

In catalog/product_new.php around line 56 find.

And change to.

Hope this works for you.

Tom.

Thanks OceanRanch, that works perfect! You should put it in contributions, because I prefer this over 'current month' settings. With current month, on the first of the month, if I haven't added anything new, then it is empty, but with this, it will always capture new items over the past 30 days - no matter which month!.

Thank you so much!!..

By default osCommerce shows the last products installed so if you did not add any the last ones you inserted are still there.

But you can look in the contributions section, there is a few contrib that shows the products you want.
