I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could assist you..
Really nice, I like it a lot. Colour Scheme is relaxing and is great for your shop. Excellent. Also like the random image..
Very very good..
Your SID killer works fine. Which solution did you use ?
Thanks, Burt, the SID killer I was using was that looks for both the name of the bots and ip, I also used the allprod mod, along with the meta tag mod. I am still waiting for googlebot to crawl my site, my company recently switched to this new site, and I notice google still got most of the old links indexed, just waiting to see if they are going to index the new one, seems like I was having problems getting them to stay on my site, I get visits from them frequetly, but have yet seen indexing of products, any ideas burt? Thanks in advance!..
Looks awsome! I love stores that dont look like the defualt osCommerce templates. One thing you might want to check compatability on Netscape.
In essence a very simple site, but really well designed. Just goes to show you don't need all those bells & whistles to make a well thought out site..
I was a liitle confused at first, in that you can't actlually purchase goods online. Maybe a pop up on the product info page. People normally using an e-commerce iPage site will be looking for hoe to but online. Even though your FaQ explains this, you need to add something else...
Thanks !!! I will check for compatability as soon as my boss let me get a breather...
Thanks, Yes, I should make it more clear that you cant order online, but direct them to my store locator which carries our line. Since we are a designer label and the manufacturer, we by contract dont and cant sell our products online, so I kinda just took out the cart portion of oscommerce. I am going to however add the wishlist mod to it soon. Thanks for the inputs...
The Store Locator is cool. Not being a USA person I couldn't find a store near me.
, but it seemed to work with the few zip codes I know..
Haha yeah.. well we do have a distributor in Germany for Europe..
Nice Clean site....
That store locator is really something?.
Did you write the code yourself or was it open source?.
Would be nice to have it as contribution...any way you can contribute it?.
As for that store locator, I coded part of it and part of it was open source. You have to download a zip database which I guess I can try to provide a link for it's pretty big. The codes are pretty straight forward but I have to find the time to make a contribution. I can try to put it up sometime in the coming weeks or you can email me your email add and I can see if I can provide you with some more info...
My email address is.
If you don't have time to contribute it, I could take a look at it and see if I can do anything..
Please send me just a link to open source...don't want to trouble you too much...
Are you there John?.
Can you tell me where you downloaded the code for store locator...I would appreciate it. Thanks..
Or...does anyone have code for this? I need for people to be able to look up retail store locations through postal code or area code..Thanks...
Can anyone give me some feedbacks on the site. We are a bridal wholesaler. If you were a customer looking for bridal dresses, is there anything else I might be missing? Thanks. Also can anyone check to see if my iPage site is killing session ids if a spider decides to crawl my site. Thanks again!!..
