First of all How do I make a sportsbook site using iPage? Looking forward for any comment. Another question on my mind: Hi again....am I being a nussaince?.

Ok, I will try to lay off all the questions.

But, I have been searching the forums and docs trying to find out how to completely get rid of the osCommerce.gif logo on the very bottom of the page under the copyright. I have been trying to find the code in the pages, but no luck on finding anything anywhere. Any suggestions?..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..

Thank you. I will look and close off my other posts that were resolved..

Also, I looked in the footer.php and deleted the reference to a banner, but it still appears...

How did you delete the reference..can you post the code..

If you deleted at least this:.

<td align="center"><?php echo tep_display_banner('static', $banner); ?></td>.

From your footer.php, then it won't display..

If you did delete that, are you sure you saved it? have you refreshed your browser?.

Btw: don't delete! comment out if possible, or keep a second copy of osC in another directory so you can always reference the way somethign was originally..

LOL! Ok, I deleted too much.

I am not sure how to reference something out I thought it was the /* & */ syntax, but it didn't work so I deleted the line code. But, I ALWAYS have a backup of the original files....just in case.

But I got it to work now, so this problem is fixed..

Comment out can be done with /* and */ or single lines // but this does not affect the html that requires <! then the code closed by >..

Ahhhh...ok looks like I forgot that line of code.

Well, I got everything to work now. Just in search of new graphics to get rid of those unsightly clipart crap on it..

I guess it just takes lots of work and code reading to even attempt to change all this PHP. Cinfusing stuff, But I am starting to get a hang of it.

Thank you for everything 241..

Hi,.

I've got a similar question to NeoNiki, I have changed the image of the OSc banner to my own logo, but I cant find anywhere in the footer code to change the URL to my own address instead of OScommerce!.

Any ideas would be great!.

Thanks,.

James..

Deagio.

Do you mean the copyright link in catalog/includes/english.php..

Hi 241,.

It is the standard banner advert at the bottom of the page, when I opened the show it was the OScommerse iamge, but ive changed that to my own logo, the problem is I cant change the link so the link is still going to OScommerce..

Any ideas?.

PS: the address is www.telolink.com/tictoc if that helps.

Thanks!.

James..

Catalog/includes/footer.php has the logo and there are some useful links in my signature for some of the information related to oscommerce.

Could you do the forum a favour and close off some of the threads that you have started where the issue is now resolved..

Just a short note in the thread that the issue has been resolved will save some of the good folks in the forum answering issues that are now resolved, thus allowing them to move on and help others.

I know I sound like a moderator but I am not one..
