Question I have... How do I make pages for my website(I am using iPage)? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Second question.. Hello.

Somebody could explain me how to allow different shipping zones rates..

I would like to make:.

- a shipping price for the United States (depending on the price of the product).

- a other shipping price for the rest of the world.

Thanks.

Jason..

Is it possible to do zone rates, like US, Ca and World for item based shipping?..

Comment #2

I was wondering if you ever got this to work? My problem is I don't mind to do seperate zones but I don't want to do it by weight. I would rather do it by price amount, is there anyway to do this..

For example: if an item cost 14.99 and we charge 4 for shipping and the person is buying from canada or europe I want to be able to add on an extra charge of 4.00.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks..

Try extraship from the contribution section..

I'm using this and works great...

Comment #4

Is it the extraship postcode rate from the contribution?.

How did you set it up do you have as a international order?..
Is it the extraship postcode rate from the contribution?.
.

Correct.
How did you set it up do you have as a international order?
.

It has it own built-in Handling fee, so if you are using the one from:.

Configuration->Shipping/Packaging.

You could just divided them, my setup is:.

Domestic: $4 for 1st order, $1 for 2nd,3rd and so on...

International: $5 for 1st order, $1.5 for 2nd, 3rd and so on...

So here's what I put in Extraship settings (you'll understand once you installed it):.

Enable Extraship Rate Shipping.

1.

Handling Fee.

2.

My Country Area 1.

00000;0,1.

My Country Area 2.

00000;0,1.

International Zones 1.

OTHER;1,1.5.

Other International Zones.

OTHER;1,1.5.

I divided my handling fee because I use UPS too. There's another $2 in my Configuration->Shipping/Packaging, so that gives me a total $4.

My Country Area 1.

00000;0,1.

Where as.

00000= your zip code.

0= 1st item.

1= 2nd,3rd,... items.

International Zones 1.

OTHER;1,1.5.

As I mentioned above I charge $5 for 1st item and $1.5 for 2nd,3rd,....

OTHER= The rest of the world, unless you mention some codes.

1= 1st item (this would give me $4 handling + $1 =$5).

1.5= 2nd, 3rd, ...
..

Comment #7

Oh, there's a bug in it..

If you put your zip code in it, and your shipping still charges the same rate for 1,2,3 items. use this:.

My Country Area 1.

1st Zip Code = 00000.

My Country Area 2.

2nd Zip Code = 99999..

Okay, I just installed extra ship but I'm having some trouble. Here is what I need to do:.

For the first part, I used a module contribution from the features section that adds item count to the ship table module..

Now, however I need to set up these flat rates for the other two "zones" being Canada and Elsewhere (not USA or Canada).

Please help!.

Hi,.

I just wanted to ask a few question with regards to your contibution..

Is it possible to use this contribution based on a product format rather than by weight..

Basically what I have is 2 different types of group products:.

Group 1.

CD's & DVD's.

Group 2.

Books & Stationary.

And each of these groups have 2 different prices the First and then additional cost ( just like your have explained in your contribtion, but yours I based on weight) and then 2 different Prices for international shipping..

Each of these product Groups have a Format group,.

SO.

CD = MC.

DVD = MV.

Books = BK.

Stationary = PP.

This is want I have.

Group1.

CD's (MC) , DVD's (MV).

Local shipping (default country).

First item 1.00 each additional 0.50 ( this is in the same group type).

International ( anyother country).

First item 2.50 each additional 1.50( this is in the same group type).

Group2.

Books (BK) , Stationary (PP).

Local shipping (default country).

First item 2.00 each additional 1.00( this is in the same group type).

International ( anyother country).

First item 4.00 each additional 2.00( this is in the same group type)..

SO if you bought 1 book+1 CD+ 1 DVD ( default country).

Shipping will be 2.00 +0.50+0.50 = 3.00 (calculating the highest ship rate first from the selected Items).

AND if you bought 1 book+1 CD+ 1 DVD (Any other country).

Shipping will be 4.00 +1.50+1.50 = 7.00 (calculating the highest ship rate first from the selected Items)..

I hope I have made this clear..and hope someone can assist me..

Thanks in advance...

Look in your admin screen under modules/shipping, the is a ZONE rate there, you put in your zones, ie US for one, world for other, and then put in your shipping costs based on weight..
