Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..
Best wishes! Walk as much as you can it really does help. Mentally prepare for a few weeks of hard core stuff... some buyer's remorse, some WTH did I do... for most of us the light at the end of the tunnel appears and suddenly life is AWESOME. Most asked by about the 4 month mark would do it all over again if they had too. So remember that in the darker first weeks..
I am still pre op. Wish a had a bunch of advice... but just remember why you are doing this and it will all be worth it in the end. Good Luck on you.
Tomorrow. Sending thoughts and prayers..
I was scared, excited, feeling blessed and cursed but determined to go through with it. It is major.
, you will be in pain, be full of gas, maybe have buyers remorse but believe me when I say it is all worth it..
Tomorrow is your RE-birthday! Celebrate it with abandon like a 5 year old!..
For me, the worst part was carrying around the catheter for some days...the pain was relavant for the.
But good drugs...
Pump...ceases all that..
Will be the first day no doubt, but then get up as soon as you can..Up is absolutely better than down for more than one reason...moving, gets the gas to moving, and the sooner it makes it's way out, the better you will feel, and don't worry...the hospital folks are use to it...they have heard it all before...good luck sweetheart...it's a ride of a lifetime, and I like others never regret this decision...not even the first time....
2 weeks down and I am already near 20 pounds lighter...I think that is one stone? mt conversion table is rusty....
Very exxcited for ya..yay tomorrow!!! Mine in 6 days. Looking forward to hearing from you!!!..
Thanks guys - it went well.
Kept in hosp an extra day due to chest infection but fine now.
Getting more mobile and independent as each day goes by.
Yes the gas was sooooooooooooo painful - but was totally shocked the first time I opened my bowels - OMG !!!!!!!!!!.
When will I ever feel hungry ? Have to be forced to eat but weight has gone up since the op :(.
Thank you for all your kind thoughts xx..
Glad to here that all went well. the weight gain is normal. They pump so many fluids in to you... it takes a few days for the fluids to get out of your system..
