Quick question... How do I put pictures on my iPage website index? Thanks for any answer. My other question... Hi,.

Just need to know is it possible to edit the "top" link in the oscommerce store to go to another websites page?.

I have a shop thats on a separate web server (and separate iPage hosting account and MySQL database) to the iPage website that contains the store navigation link which is all fine until you click on the "top" link which takes you to the index page on the server where the shops located and is separate from the iPage website that contains the stores links..

Thank you...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..

If you simply want to change "Top" to something like "HOME" - you can do this in catalog/includes/languages/english.php.

Change:.

Define('HEADER_TITLE_TOP', 'Top');.

Nope..

I want to change the url that you will be taken to when you click on "top"..

Comment #4

Ah - then you will find it in catalog/includes/application_top.php.

Near the bottom, look for.

$breadcrumb->add(HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG, tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT));.

Change it to.

$breadcrumb->add(HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG, tep_href_link('my_new_page.php'));.

In.

/includes/.

Application_top.php.

Change this code:.

$breadcrumb->add(HEADER_TITLE_TOP, HTTP_SERVER);.

To something like:.

$breadcrumb->add(HEADER_TITLE_TOP, 'http://www.the_other_site.com');.

OF COURSE YOU SHOULD BACKUP THE FILE BEFORE MAKING ANY EDITS..

This is to link to a totally different site..

To link to another osC page, use the code Rob just posted...

Hmm, I didnt meant to sound like a smartazz in my reply.

And they are right...after breaking my store 12345 times, Ive learned, BACKUP and NEVER work on your live files. I take my live files and ftp them to my puter, save them, copy them and save with another name very similar. That way I can ftp it back with the original filename, have it replace it and if it's broken, all I gotta do is ftp the original one back and voila...my store is back up and running as before. I am SURE there is an easier way to do this, but this is what works for me. Go figure..

Thanks again to all...
