Got a quick question: How do I sign to Yahoo iPage web hosting in the UK? Thanks for any comment. My other question... Ok... Here is my problem..

I suck at html and am having a HELL of a time integrating Paypal "Add to cart" buttons with my website..

Below I have linked my webpage so you can see what I'm talking about. This should be a quickie answer for most of you so I'll expect at least a few replies. Anyway, enough babling..

All I'm trying to do is place the paypal (Add to cart" buttons in their proper location next to the price listed in the appropriate item box.(You can see my (inoperable) flash buttons, immitate where I want the buttons to go, but when I enter the paypal html code into my webpage html, the "Add to cart" button only displays on the top or bottom of the website..

Whate code do I use to manipulate the "add to cart" and "veiw cart" buttons..

Also were in my html document do I apply the code..

The iPage website address is.

As I said you can see my fake (Flash) buttons and the real html button on the bottom left..

I will also enclose my html document code for you to see..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..

Well, if thats truly the case, then I'm screwed because when I made my flash buttons with the variables for the Paypal button, the variables are visable, and therefore editable..

MEANING, if someone wanted to, they could go into the code and change a $1000 dollar item into a $100 dollar item..

I know you can input standard html code into your flash webpage, but I'm having a hard time positioning the buttons..

All I need is for someone to explaing how to do that:.

Whether it be integrating HTML code within my flash html..

Or being able to hide variables from the user...

Wel for one I only saw 1 button, it was right under the picture. is that the flash button? if so I can't see the code to change anything. the paypal button goes clear to the bottom becasue you don't have any place to put it. all you have is an object and then the paypal button. just place that code into the flash for the button and you should be fine...

O.k. I have done that and if you check the first button now, you will see that it kind of works. It's missing the continue shopping button for some reason and again like I said:.

When you click on it, it will take you to a secure paypal site. It will then show you the item and the price of the item. But if you look up in the address bar you will see that the variables are displayed. Including the most inportant. Price..

You will then see that someone could edit the price variable and replace a $285.00 item into a $2.00 item and it would process through. Now, of course I would catch this and notify the customer that they were caught. But how much confidence would you have in a company that claims a safe secure online shopping experience when there own security is clearly inept..

If you know of a javascript to convert this:.

<form target="paypal" action="" method="post">.

<input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_cart">.

<input type="hidden" name="business" value="&item_name=AEM COLD AIR SYS: RSX TYPE-S 02-UP&item_number=AEM-21-506&amount=$285.00&no_note=1","_blank","POST");.

Now, all I need in order to make the code work right is 2 things. I need to include the "continue shopping" button that is included in the regular Paypal html script and I need to make the variables hidden from the user, but visible to the paypal server..

Unfortunately for me, I dont have alot of javascripting ability or html scripting ability. I don't have much time(Less then 2 days) and I'm almost down to paying someone money to create my website, although I have exceptional flash web design ability. I feel like you can use flash's features for B.S., but not for anything in-depth or for E-commerce..

I have been dealing with this subject for too long and feel defeated..

If you have anyother last minute ideas please post...

I don't know a lick of flash so I am limited, but you put all your variables in the url.

COLD AIR SYS: RSX TYPE-S 02-UP&item_number=AEM-21-506&amount=$285.00&no_note=1.

Can't flash make a hidden field? why do you have to put them in the url?.

My suggestion, just use the flash button and not make it the whole page. besides tha tflash button doesn't even do anything so you could jsut use a regular image for a button..
