Good question... I dunno what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..

Hi there, really like your iPage site setup, please tell me how I can enable a box to show the payment methods like you have set up?.

As well, how do you make larger images within the product description area?.

Any idea how you added the images on your main page, after the TEXT_MAIN?..

Your iPage site violates the OSC copyright..

If you read the problem then you would have realised that the person starting the thread is having a problem with the footer and the footer is the bit that contains the copyright statement, so thus if the bottom part of the footer the bit that contains the copyright is the problem then you cannot possibly display the copyright.

First...thank you 241 for jumping to my defense...just what I would have said..

).

Mtimdog...I didn't delete anything...I have not touched the iPage site for the last 4 days...and my footer was there yesterday..

Sharukh...see next reply...

Sharukh...by "payment methods" do you mean the credit card logos at the bottom of the left column?.

If so, it was a bit of custom code I downloaded from another site, and would be happy to email it to you. It is uterly SIMPLE to install with no complicated code changes..

I'm not sure I follow where you mean...do you mean the product images on the actual product_info page, or the popup images?.

I have every idea how I added the images after TEXT_MAIN, but it is a custom bit of code that is more of a workaround than true php. The images displayed are manually chosen and entered, and a connection to the database is not used to display those products. Manual configuration though, as it is only 4 or 5 products, is not a big deal. If you like, I can send you a step-by-step of what I did...

Rex.

Any chance of you sending me that bit of code as well and no problem..

Missing images: I don't know if it's comcast cable (but I have confirmed this only at 2 different places using comcast), but I have created about 5 pages (html and/or php) that have images that just don't seem to show up in the browser(ie, netscape) or the "view source". When these sites are for customers, this is pretty bad. I know it can be frustrating when some people see something and others don't..

I'd suggest re-uploading your footer file (possibly put in some spaces to try to force some output) and see where that leads...

Hmmm.........interesting..

I tried what you suggested mtimdog...but it made no difference..

But it just occurred to me that the problem started after I turned of the osc banner, through the banner manager, and inserted a couple of my own..

I tuend my own banners off, and it made no difference...but when I turned the osc banner back on...my footer returned!.

So my question, now, is this:.

Why, when turning off the osc banner, would my footer disappear?..

It sounds like you have.

Echo FOOTER_TEXT_BODY.

Inside the if statement if ($banner = tep_banner_texists.

So it doesn't echo out the copyright if the banner is turned off...

If there is an "if" statement, shouldn't there be a corresponding "then" or "else" statement that executes depending on whether the "if" statement returns true or false? I thought that's the way "if" statements worked..

Incidentally, I haven't touched the footer.php file, so if this is standard, perhaps it's a bug that needs looking at?.

And even though the osc banner is enabled, it's not actually showing up..

I have my footer back, so it's all a mute point anyway....but I am curious...

I turned my banner off and the FOOTER_TEXT_BODY still worked fine..

Post your footer code just for kicks...

I would like the "payment methods" code too please...

Looks like you deleted the image and text in the footer, but notice that the bottom bar is still there with your requests number...
