Got a quick question: How does one transfer adomain to another provider? 123 reg.com seems to be expensive? Hoping for any response. 2nd question I got is....when typing a sentence today, after the period I put "com", i.e. The pen is blue.com.

Okay okay, I've known for longer that I'm addicted to domains, but was still funny so I thought I'd share. Anyone else have some funny slips like that?..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at 123 reg as they probably know..

Well said, I don't think there are very many domianers that don't regret their first 6 months or so...

It came time for renewals and I realized ISTILLdon'thaveaclue.com.

(but I said it out loud)..

You may have an addiction when you do a whois on a HostGator that you are interested in acquiring only to find out you already own it.

Happened to me a few times hehe..

You know you are addicted when you visit your own parking page many times on accident...

I didnt know I had a HostGator addiction until ___________________________.

You talk about HostGator names with everyone and none of them understands anything...

The spouse is asking why I am asking for sex.com..

The only response I could come up with was "parking!"...

No such trouble if you have zero HostGator name as I think so..

You could have told her that you wanted to make some sub-domains!..

Sure, why not, mine and I like it: redishot.com (Red is Hot).

But that's no addiciton ... before I start domaining I allways look at car numbers and try to devide, multiple, look for prime numbers ....

Its just that you see "more" ... like doctors when see someone at street and think "hej, that nose or bo.bs are not real"..

I did that and she said I needed an upgrade first...

I've done that forever. I've been doing that here at namepros for a while..

Everytime I finish a sentence I always add .com and then I'm like "crap. this isn't a domain"..

I was considering starting a thread on this same subject. Glad I'm not alone.

Skinny..

Just goes to show the power of the TLD .com! You never add .org do you.

No wonder .com is so valuable. I find myself typing .com even when accessing my own non-.com domains....*sigh*.

Back on track...after my months of incessant estibot tweaking I keep appraising the domains everywhere. On the TV, newspaper ads, outdoor ads....also keep looking at regular 2-word combos in any text I read as potential .com domains......

Lol I like this one. I just got my first statement ouch I spent $1000+ and I just started domaining. darn creditcards.com.

So true Josh I hope you factor that into Estibot algorithms..

I didnt know I had a HostGator addiction until ...I sat on the toilet and a .com came out.

You think Sh*t.com is taken? lol..

When I was younger, everything was related to Taco Bell and beer money..

$4.50? That's 7 - .59 cent tacos! or a 12 pack of Beast!.

Nowadays, it's $25? That's 2 .com, 1 .us, and 5 - .99 infos!..

Omg I do the same thing. I almost bought a decent blazer this afternoon for $250 and then I said to myself "myself thats a lot of .com's you could register" so I put it back. $250 can be broken down into so many combos of domains i'm not gonna try...

Hey ... I am not addicted ... but for any of you that.

Is.

Addicted I have some good domainine to sell ... it is 100%.

Com.

Ombian (lol) ... but it sells for $500 a gram ... erm ... a letter.

Aah ... there is also some internetine but that is waaay more addictive ... I used to do it once a week ... but now I do it at least once a day ... many times more often ....

Its beyond an addiction and becomes a way of life...

We might need a self help group for our HostGator addiction! I am at the point where I virtually live domain's. It is a progressive disease. It started out a hobby and it has now turned into full time fun. We should start a forum for HostGator addiction. Perhaps we can call it the 12 step forum. Danielr are you still a giant in gambling domains? It is good to see you again Sir.
