I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably could assist you..

That's some pretty cool marketing for sure. Be interesting to see what it ends up going for....

That's great. LOL! Can't wait to see where this ends up..

Make no mistake, this seller put a lot of hours into putting that auction together. This auction needed to get a lot of attention for it to be worth their effort. It looks like they've accomplished that...

Hahaha that is so awesome, I have probably listened to it about 3 times now. Great marketing idea, guy must be a genious..

I second that. He is a very clever guy...

As the Master Tom Peters says.....you gotta be DISTINCT or be EXTINCT......

Amen to that. A wise saying you must live by...

Entertaining indeed.

Not sure what it would have been appraised for here, but I would have said $50 - $60 probably wholesale..

If nothing else, a little more exposure for HostGator Names AND GoDaddy (Good for the industry,.

).

That was sheer brilliance..

Anyone who picks that up will have fun battling eBay. I bought the HostGator HowToSellStuffOnEbay.com and they contacted me not too much longer an made me give them the name. I think they'll do the same for this one. However, the funny thing will be that the winner can say they bought it on eBay and eBay shouldn't have allowed it to be sold if they had a problem with it..

The ad was truly brilliant (although the music might not be legal to use in that fashion)...

I wish I could have seen it, sounded like all you guys loved it..

The HostGator name was "iboughtitonebay.com/net/org/biz/etc" and the ad had the weird al song in the background "I bought it on ebay" and the song is about buying useless crap on ebay and you could follow along in the song with the ad which had the lyrics and pictures of items it mentioned like a duke's of hazard ash tray. And as an added incentive the winner got an item mentioned in the song. Look up the song online.

The lyrics.

Invalid Item.

This listing (5784471762) has been removed by eBay or is no longer available. Please make sure that you've entered the item number correctly..

If the item was removed by eBay, please consider this transaction canceled. If anybody contacts you to complete the sale, please ignore the request. Completing the sale outside of eBay may be unsafe and will not be covered by eBay purchase protection programs...

Nooooo!.

I was going to show it to all my friends etc..

Hmph! Damned ebay!..

Yeah I wished I could of seen it too but thanks droplister for informing us what happened...
