I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..
I'm currently using epdq (Barclays Processor) for shop 1 and want to set up shop 2 to use the same merchant..
On the epdq configuration page there is space for only 1 ALLOWED URL to call to make the payment from cat to processor..
This is what epdq said 'and will need to configure your 2 web sites so they can speak to ePDQ through a single referring page. Your developers should be able to do this by providing a 'jump' page.'.
Hope that explains a bit more.
I looked at the EPDQ mod a little bit and I dont see any 'easy' way to do what you want..
I am a security conscious person and that mod hits me at about 9..
5 points for including .htaccess and .htpasswd.
4 points for sending the customers SID to a payment gateway..
Instead of this.
It should be this.
Your server should create a private session2 with the gateway and then the results from session2 go baack to the correct store customer->session1..
So I hope you can get what I'm sayin, and I hope you read that little red message at the bottom of the contribs page..
BTW: Your iPage site looks great....
Cheers for looking into it for me, hopefully be able to figure something out.
Did you ever find an answer for this. Would also like to know..
I didn't get any answers on this. What I have decided to do is to move to a host who will allow the multiple domains in one account and I have arranged for another merchant number for an additional ePDQ store..
Decided that this would be the easiest in the long run..
I have a question which might be easily solved..
I want to have 2 shops (Different URL but same webspace) use the same merchant processor and account..
The call to the merchant processing page must be from 1 URL only..
I would therefore like to know if it is possible to have both shops merge at a jump page to the merchant processing page?.
I hope this makes sense.
How many merchant processors are there? Ill take a 50/50 chance and say YES...
