First of all How to upload png file on iPage? Thanks for any answer. Second question of mine... When modifying the php files to show your stores info, when there is an update does your info get wiped out? or does osCommerce use override directories like some other popular open source e-commerce software?..

No, I mean modifying this info:.

This is a default setup of the osCommerce project, products shown are for demonstrational purposes, any products purchased will not be delivered nor will the customer be billed. Any information seen on these products is to be treated as fictional..

Error Messages.

If there are any error or warning messages shown above, please correct them first before proceeding..

Error messages are displayed at the very top of the page with a complete background color..

Several checks are performed to ensure a healthy setup of your online store - these checks can be disabled by editing the appropriate parameters at the bottom of the includes/application_top.php file..

Editing Page Texts.

Etc.....

You should make a backup of anything before editing it..

And I wouldn't use the osC File.

Mangler.

Manager to make changes to anything...

Yeah, I get that, but does an upgrade of osCommerce.

NORMALLY.

Override the files?..

There is no "automatic update" from version to version..

It's a manual process..

Files are overwritten..

The system will make no backups..

Clear enough?..

If you mean the "store info" when you add products to sell, those are all stored in the MYSQL database - no PHP files are modded...
