I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..
Ok...I did that, and I get a 500 error, and it lasts until the morning. I've tried that code before, and I remember it gives me the error for quite a few hours..
Any other ideas on how to do it??.
Thanks so much..
You really should consdier upgrading to MS2..
Regardless, if you are receiving the errors even after changing the code back, you have 1 of 2 issues:.
(1) Your browser is calling the cached page instead of the actual page or you are using one of those awful 'High-Speed Dial-Up' providers that sends you cached pages so you think your 56k is faster..
(2) Your host is causing the problem...
Hmmm....I am on dialup with the extra booster stuff or whatever...so thats all that service is?? Just recalling old pages? Ohhhh boy. Wish I didn't live out in the sticks..
And as for upgrading, if I upgrade, will I have to re-do everything in the store? Or can it upgrade just like a regular OS upgrade?.
Oh...I just looked up what I'm using for OSC...and Im currently running 2.2 MS2...
Sory for the tons of short postings...I'm sort of flighty. Just still wondering how to fix my problem with getting the "New Products" module off of the iPage site all together. We only get one shipment a year in the spring, so everything would be pretty much new in April only...
Just have an alternative suggestion.
Why not change just the text of New Products to Featured Products....
Define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'New Products');.
Define('HEADING_TITLE', 'New Products');.
Change the 'New Products' to 'Featured Products'.
Just an idea..
Could do that...I want to have some text in there about the shop and the work we do in Southeast Asia. Possibly do that above there, I suppose....thanks fo rthe suggestion!..
Hi! I've searched a few times to try and find out how to do this. Whenever I see a post, it talks about the default.php file. I can't seem to find any default.php files. Also, some people say to comment out certain lines in the index.php file, like.
But when I comment out the 2 times that line occurs, I end up getting a 500 error and I can't access the page for the rest of the night..
Could anyone please help me out? I just want to put some regular text in there, about my shop, instead of the new products stuff. I don't need that..
Default.php was on the old version of osC.
In catalog/index.php on line 121 and 313 change this:.
<?php include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?>.
<?php //include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?>.
