Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..
Where is the visitor report? could you please tell me more detail?.
In phpmyadmin type in the following in the sql edit box:.
Delete from visitors.
Then click go.
Adjust the sql above if you want to be more specific with what you want deleted in that table...
Hi, Emmett, thank you so much...
But could you please tell me where is the phpmyadmin? I am sorry, I don't know much about it ....
Thanks a lot!..
Phpmyadmin is the panel to allow you to edit your db - check with your host regarding access...
I got in to the phpmyadmin, but I didn't see any thing about visitors table in the database.....
Its an access log - just delete it and then ask your host if they have an online administration tool so that you can set it to reset itself after "x" mb or "x" period of time - saves your disc space..

Hi, yesterday my shopping cart got shut down, I couldn't find out anything wrong, it just showed the error is about a xxx.LOG file. I ended up to find out that the iPage site used up all the quota space in the sever. after I asked for more space from the iPage hosting company, it works fine..
I was wondering how could I used up all the space without uploading any new files to the site. and I finally find out there is a file under the SQL folder, name of it is familyhood.log (familyhood.com is the web iPage site name) and it is about 300MB. I am sure when I first used the shopping cart, this file wasn't that big, becaue I had a lot more space on the sever right after I installed this shopping cart..
I wonder what is the file about? what is it for? and since it is getting bigger and bigger by the time customers use it, is that possible that I could delete the file once a while to prevent it from being too big?.
The main thing that takes up my db is the visitors report - does this help ? .
I reset mine every so often...
