Got a question... I need a iPage web host that hosts mulitple websites with seperate domains for lowest price? Many thanks for any answer. 2nd question I got is.. Is there a way to remove the images that appear in the right hand corner of the pages or move them to the left corner? What I would like to do is remove the "whats new", "lets see what we have here" text and then move the image that shows on the right side to the left..

Thanks..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

What do you want to do.

You say that you want to remove the image but then you say that you want to move the image, which is it, remove or move..

If you go to the page there will be no image on the right side..

The text is this.

Catalog/products_new.php.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php  echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

Change to.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php // echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>..

For example, on all the pages I would like to remove the "whats new", "lets see what we have here", "catagories" text. I would like to keep the images on these pages and possibly move it to the right side..

On the main page I want to remove the "whats new" text and the image..

You said the file to edit is in the catalogs folder...I have a catalog folder but it's empty, I have products_new.php in my public_html folder and thats the one I cahnged..

I'm new at this plz be paient.....

Products_new.php.

<tr>.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

           <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php // echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_products_new.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

         </tr>.

Change to.

<tr>.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php  echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_products_new.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

           <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php // echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

         </tr>.

This will remove the text and move the image to the left.

Index.php.

 } else { // default page.

?>.

   <td width="100%" valign="top"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

     <tr>.

       <td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

         <tr>.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

           <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_default.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

         </tr>.

       </table></td>.

Change to.

 } else { // default page.

?>.

   <td width="100%" valign="top"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

     <tr>.

       <td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

         <tr>.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php // echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

           <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php // echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_default.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

         </tr>.

       </table></td>.

There are two other places on the index.php that may need to be changed depending on whether or not you wish to have an image and text when you click on a category..

The other places on index.php are.

     $image = $image['categories_image'];.

   }.

?>.

           <td align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$image, HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

         </tr>.

       </table></td>.

Change to.

     $image = $image['categories_image'];.

   }.

?>.

           <td align="right"><?php // echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$image, HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

         </tr>.

       </table></td>.

         <tr>.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

<?php.

// optional Product List Filter.

   if (PRODUCT_LIST_FILTER > 0) {.

Change to.

         <tr>.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php // echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

<?php.

// optional Product List Filter.

   if (PRODUCT_LIST_FILTER > 0) {.

   $category = tep_db_fetch_array($category_query);.

?>.

   <td width="100%" valign="top"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

     <tr>.

       <td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

         <tr>.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

           <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$category['categories_image'], $category['categories_name'], HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

         </tr>.

       </table></td>.

Change to.

   $category = tep_db_fetch_array($category_query);.

?>.

   <td width="100%" valign="top"><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

     <tr>.

       <td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.

         <tr>.

           <td class="pageHeading"><?php // echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

           <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php // echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$category['categories_image'], $category['categories_name'], HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

         </tr>.

       </table></td>..

Thanks for the info. I think I've got it figured out...almost. I still can't seem to get rid of the image in the right hand corner (little cash register thing) of the main page or the text that says "whats new" on the left..

Any ideas?.

Again, thank you!.

Are you using a template system such as STS or BTS.

As the codes given get rid of the image and text without issue on a non template sytem oscommerce..

If using a template system then it is different files..

If you dont know then provide a link and we will tell you if you are using a template system..

No, I'm not using a template system. maybe someone could tell me which one of the code changes is supposed to remove the image on the main page?.

Howard..

As posted there are three places used in index.php each controls a different area, one is the initial or default view, another is for when you click on the categories and the third is for the product list filter..

The code above which has.

} else { // default page.

Is actually for the default view..

Backup your file as you allways do before making changes..

Then change each code section in turn..

Is there a way to remove the images that appear in the right hand corner of the pages or move them to the left corner? What I would like to do is remove the "whats new", "lets see what we have here" text and then move the image that shows on the right side to the left..

This is not the header.

You would need to change the codes on each page that you require this to be done.

Here is an example for the what's new page.

Catalog/products_new.php.

           <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_products_new.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

Change to.

           <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php // echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_products_new.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>..
