Got a quick question: I need help with Wordpress hosted with iPage!? Thanks for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. Hi all, My isp just upraged to php 4.3.3 and apache. Now the admin is getting Internal Server Error when ever set to high security. I am running MS2.2. If we turn off high security and run under safe mode, it works, but with high security on, I get Internal Server Error when trying to run administrator... Any ideas???..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..

This is from the error_log file.

Also, if I run php index.php from the command line within the admin directory here is what is produced first....

Try removing 'mysql' from the end of your configure.php file..

Did that and here is the configure.php from within admin1/includes I had to move the admin to admin1, because admin is take by our control panel. I has been working for months until the upgrade 2 nights ago,.

This is strange for when the cookie expires:.

Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT.

What is the date and time of the server at the shell prompt?..

Also, the error:.

<b>Warning</b>: main(includes/languages/english/): failed to open stream: No such file or di.

Rectory in <b>/var/www/html/admin1/includes/application_top.php</b> on line <b>133</b><br />.

Yet your document root is:.

'/home/virtual/site43/fst/var/www/html/admin1/..

Then /home/virtual/site43/fst/var/www/html/admin1/ is commented out with //.

And using the /var/www/html as the document root. Actually I have tried it both ways...

If I use the /home/virtual/site43/fst/var/www/html this is the error:.

Have you tried to create another sql database and install a generic version of osCommerce, downloaded from here? what do you get? that takes about 5 minutes to do. maybe 10..

The iPage website itself works fine, it's just the admin. In fact if the isp puts the webserver in safe mode it works fine. I have not yet tried a new install was hoping not to do that. I have verified the index.php file and application_top.php file to the orginals and all seems fine......

ISP seems to think perhaps some sort of permission problem but I just cant find it...

I did have to disable search engine safe urls, because after the upgrade it would in interpet the cpath/xx correctly....

I did see another post within this board regarding that issue...

I figured this one out, it appears that running in the so called high security (safe mode off) the admin directory permissions had to be set at 755...

What do you mean by high security? there should be no problem with 4.3.3, as that is what I use on my servers, and no one has any problem at all. what is the internal server error? have you looked in the server admin logs, the access and error logs?..
