Quick question: I want to know which iPage web hosting company I should opt for? Thanks in advance for any comment. Second question.. Some friends and I would like to have a forum just for ourselves and I like this one here at HtmlForums, though it's way more involved than neccessary for us. However, the one here at:.

( demo vs of it:.

) is too basic..

Can you suggest any that are free to use? Because I don't have the time to learn how to make one myself..

Thanks, Gandalf..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..

I found the best is Invision Board. It's really easy to set up and configure, and easy to skin aswell..

You can see my effort at.

(although sometimes the server doesn't work.

I can totally vouche for the kick-assedness of phpBB2. it's really really nice...

I think that threaded style scripts are too basic. Thats just my opinion though!.

No one's mentioned invisionboard yet!.

And theres burning board.

Personally I think phpBB is terrible, it doesn't have as much features and isn't as stable as my fav which is Invision Board. IB is Stable, feature packed and very good looking...

How many more features do you need? The forum above has over 180 hacks..

PhpBB is excellent. I have tried many and think that it has a huge amount of features, and as blowndeadline has mentioned, it has many many hacks...

I totally agree everyone should get Invision board or Burning board not phpBB!!..

So you are saying that 180 hacks, everything you could possibly imagine as well as ease of customization means it's terrible? Frankly I could care less, I don't support the company, just speaking from experience. PHPBB is free and always will be. Invision board requires registration if you use it on any iPage site that is not non-profit..

I have used Invision board, yes, it works..
