Good question... I dunno what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you help..

Diana, I'm so sorry for your loss. I think I can empathize a little bit. Three years ago I lost my dear SIL/BFF to gallbladder cancer. She was diagnosed in August and passed away in November. In my experience, the pain of loss gets easier to handle over time. I will keep you in my thoughts..

Chomping on some celery the other day and it was tasting good. So I had the thought, "you know you're a MF-er when celery without even so much as salt on it tastes good. " LOL.

Love the penguin!.

You know you are an MF'er when.....hmmmmmm......where do I start? You wash out your shake/drink glasses immediately for fear of medistink bombs..

....when you shop the perimeter and don't even want to go anywhere near the inside aisles..

.....when you know where every toilet is......well every where you go!.

.....when you plan your water around the toilet..

..... when you plan your day around your meals..

..... when you have little packs or bars stuffed everywhere....just in case..

..... when you wonder how many bars you can eat in a row and not fart...

On plan: no choice....drinking shakes, hot cocoa and capp....bad dentist day. Thank heavens for MF!! Problem may be low in calories though. Will have to wait and see..

Water: Oh yes..

Exercise: I almost missed my facial because I was so into my exercise today that I went 1/2 hour longer than planned. Go figure..

You know you are an MFer when you almost miss a facial for exercise!..

You know you are an MF'er when you can't sleep, but you are afraid to get out of bed because your meals won't last all day if you are awake for too many hours..

Seriously, it is musical season, so I am starting to get into my sleepless nights...musical songs in my head mode. UGH. So I got up this morning at 4:45. I am so sure my eating plan will be askew all day. I packed a few extra hard boiled eggs and cheese sticks to get me through protein wise..

Barb, you are so right about the meals getting messed up if one is awake too long. That was one reason I was so frantic to get back to sleep. I'd been awake already for 4 hours after meal #6 and the last thing I wanted to do was to eat. Even in all my worst binging days, I never ate at night. I knew that spelled death for me..

Anyway, today is another day and I did get some blissful sleep last night..

Gotta get dressed and go to work soon..

I am the stage crew director for a local high school. We work on the sets for the plays and musicals. The musical is generally at the end of February, so I'm busy working with the kids to finish the set. We also did a play in the fall, although that was fairly easy..

Happy Saturday everyone!.

I'm constantly reminded that I'm an MFer when I'm licking up the crumbs from my puffs..or scooping all the overflowed cappuccinno foam back into my cup...or licking the bottom of the Magic Bullet blender to get all the pudding....

And of course EVERYTHING that Barb posted....except I'm not quite to the point of missing a facial due to exercise :P.

I don't remember when I last posted my stats, but I've been OP everyday, been getting my water every day and have exercised twice this week..

Have a busy day, but will mostly be in my (home) office, so I'll check in frequently..

This facial thing is serious. A girl has to take care of herself in more ways than exercise. I was so into the music on my iPod. I was just singing away and stepping and dancing....and the time just got away from me. Go figure..

You know you've been on Medifast a long time (or you know you're reaping the benefits of following the Medifast plan!) when you first started exercising you could barely do 20 minutes at 2 mph and now you do 3 mph for 15 minutes to warm up and it feels slow and you crank our 2.5 miles in your allotted 45 minutes.

...and you wish you weren't afraid to run on the treadmill.

You know you're on Medifast when you can pull your pants down without unbuttoning or unzipping them..

Comment #18 it Jan. It is so true! It is even better when you can pull your size 6 jeans down without unbottoning or unzipping them. Of course thats not just that they are big, but that they are stretch material. I know, I need to buy the size 4's, but they scare the heck out of me. So I wear my slightly big size 6s with a nice belt..

You know you are on Medifast when you can wear a belt and it looks darn good!.

Loving MF, my eating plan and my jeans..

The weather man is calling for .......drum roll..... 40 degrees and partly sunny, which means that I can go outside and run in my new running shoes. What more can a girl ask for? My daughter would say some boot and shoe help. New running shoes don't help the wardrobe. I say, what does my daughter know?.

YAY Kitty!!.

Had a great OP day and am just winding down, getting ready to crawl into bed. Had a great workout...the thing I like about my weekend workouts, I do them in the afternoon and I'm all hot & sweaty & thirsty and it's perfect shake time! I hadn't been having shakes this winter, but now I'm doing one or tow on the weekends. Love it cuz it helps tip the scale in the right direction..

I haven't been measuring (myself) either since I didn't want to see the higher numbers, but I broke down this morning and measured. It wasn't as bad as I thought - a bit depressing, but I can't expect to have an additional 20 lbs and the same waist size.

So, now I have a benchmark and when I'm discouraged with the scale, I can see the inches going away..

I hear my bed calling me, so I'm outa here. See y'all tomorrow!..

Back to the dentist tomorrow at 8 am. The tooth I had a root canal in now has a crack. The pus filled sac hasn't gone away and is worse and to make matters even worse, I broke another tooth. I am in dental h**l. UGH..

Thank heavens I still have some oatmeal and a few hot cocoas, but they are running low. I hope I can get these teeth fixed soon...

Good morning, crew...or what's left of us...where is everybody?.


- It's called the winter from h**l. I was sick righ after New Years and the sneezing continues...not as bad, but not 100% well. Poor DH has been coughing since Sept. when school started. I think we don't get back to 100% because we get back to work.

Too soon.

We forget to rest and take care of.


That's how it is in my house....


Is also under the weather. Sore throat...don't know much more. I'm assuming she's getting some rest as I haven't heard from her..


- so sorry about your tooth/teeth. I danced with the dentist last year to the tune of surgery, implants, infections. Tooth/jaw/mouth related pain is the.

Kitty, I ask this all the time. If only the students would just carry one of the thousands of varieties of cold virus. I mean really, if they can't wash their hands and if they need to touch everything, they should be considerate enough to just spread one type of bug..

Hey crew! Ive been pretty busy the past few days. I went to this 1.5hr intense bootcamp in Orlando on Saturday. I'm still sore from this class. We did a long warm up and 3 rounds of 1min stations. There were 11 stations and lots of exercises I had never done before. It was so fun and I hope to go up once a month to do it!.

Dating wise I've been seeing been seeing Mr. Sludge as Jan calls him. He has actually been better about what he is eating. I've brought it up and he is making an effort. Most of the food he eats doesn't bother me but the fried food is what drives me nuts but he is a runner and a guy so he burns more. We ran together last night and he kept up so that was fun!.


Finally sent you the granola bar recipe. I hesitated sending to you because I feel like I like food that most people don't like but let me know!..

HEY, Crew - just lost a long post, so I will try again tomorrow. I must say that the trip to the Carolinas was fun and a great break from all of this snow and c-o-l-d. Mon and Tues. I was at a faculty/staff retreat. It was a wonderful retreat experience and followed the plan of our high schoolers' retreat program. Much needed on my part and decided that I will turn over a few new leaves..

Mass and Confession were a part of the retreat and in that spirit, I must confess, dear crew, that I have been on a bender for the last 5 days - yes, a little wine on the weekend, but way too much food and then these past two days with all of the wonderful treats (read junk) the school parents provided for us, well, I resisted for a while, but the junk got the better of me and then - well, trigger wasn't just a horse....I've been totally out of control. SO -.

I'm back, I'm feeling strong again since reading everyone's posts and catching up. I am so glad that Lent is around the corner, it will help me and I need all the strength I can get at the moment. I am fortunate it is nothing other than the voice in my head (the bad one) and lack of structure that I have been experiencing and that I can turn that around..

Finished my last packet earlier, oatmeal, and it tasted so good and comforting. Will be back with shoutouts and catching up tomorrow..

Night all, sleep well and hope tomorrow is a sunny one where you are..

I ordered a new pedometer today. I had one last year and I just LOVED it...I could download all the data to my PC, it kept track of steps, aerobic steps, miles and calories burned. The PC software graphed it and all sorts of cool stuff - you all know what a number nerd I am..

Anyway, DH put it through the wash by accident...I hadn't taken it out of my pocket and he didn't check. That was last fall, I think. I've been keeping my eye on the sales cuz it's pretty pricey. It finally came down to within a few dollars of what I paid for it last spring, so it's on it's way...I'm ever so excited!!.

Good morning Crew!.

So busy....but I will check in. It's my checking in that holds me responsible to myself day after day, no matter how busy I get. Besides, yesterday was weigh in. No change. Life is good, although a little hectic. Last week and 1/2 before show opens..

Sun sun and more sun....we re SO lucky right now....Its warmng up a bit, a whole 26 this morning. I will be going out later, but right now, I'm still catching up on lazy time. I hate to waste a sunny day indoors, but I adore my sunny kitchen and my second cup of tea..
