Got a question... If I register a Domain name at iPage, would I actually own it? Looking forward for any response. Another question on my mind: Hi guys. I've been pulling my hair out on this one and cant seem to figure it out..

If you goto the iPage website Im working on at.

The first time you go there you will see the footer messed up and in the left colum of the screen. If you refresh the screen it then looks ok. From what I have been able to figure out it has something to do with the cookie..

If you tell your broswer to not accept a cookie from my iPage site or exit your browser and then reload it and the iPage website you will see the footer messed up but doing a single refresh of the screen seems to send the cookie and then the sites footer is displayed ok..

Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this? Its driving me nuts!.

Regards,.

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can help you..

I have absolutely the same problem...

After doing what you reccomend, I totaly screwed up my site.

Internal Server Error.

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request..

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ZZZZZZZZ and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error..

More information about this error may be available in the server error log..

I restored the original .htaccess, but with no luck..?? what have I done?..

Hi, You can give it a try but it didn't work for me..

You also need to remove the # on the IfModule and /Module lines also. I still have the same problem with the footer being displayed though..

Right now I have.

<IfModule mod_php4.c>.

Php_value session.use_trans_sid 0.

Php_value register_globals 1.

</IfModule>.

And I've also tried.

<IfModule mod_php4.c>.

Php_value session.use_trans_sid 0.

#php_value register_globals 1.

</IfModule>.

I had verion 4.2.2 installed of PHP so I upgraded to the latest version 4.3.4 and the problem is still there. I'm starting to doubt it's a problem with the version of PHP I'm running unless it's something thats only effecting the newer versions..

Anyone have any other suggestions?..

I compaired the HTML code from when it's being displayed right to when it's being displayed wrong and found this...

BAD HTML SHOWN THE FIRST TIME THE PAGE IS LOADED.

   <td><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="100%" height="1"></td>.

 </tr>.

</table>.

</td>.

 </tr>.

</            </td>.

^THIS SHOULD BE A </TABLE>.

         </tr>.

<! languages_eof //>.

<! currencies //>.

GOOD HTML SHOWN AFTER A REFRESH.

   <td><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" border="0" alt="" width="100%" height="1"></td>.

 </tr>.

</table>.

</td>.

 </tr>.

</table>.

           </td>.

         </tr>.

<! languages_eof //>.

<! currencies //>..

Its a bug in your version of PHP - the workaround until you upgrade is to uncomment this line (remove #) in catalog/.htaccess:.

#  php_value session.use_trans_sid 0.
