Got a question... I'm looking for a iPage web hosting with the things I list below? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Another question... I have set a new store to a fixed width of 790 pixels and centered it on the page..

Dose anyone know how to put a 1 piont box or frame around the entire store and set the background outside of the store to be a different color?.

Here is a link to the new store to see what I'm writing about:.

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..

I have added a table to the header and closed it in the footer but it dose not show up anywhere..

????..

Have you set the border="1"? Try setting it to "20" in case it is there and you are just missing it. If you remove the table, does your iPage site still display the same?.

I had to use the following line but I can't seem to affect the borders color and the background color outside of the table..

<table width="790" bgcolor="white" border="1" bgcolor="333399" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">.

<tr>.

<td>.

Then respectivly closed in the footer..

My goal, is to set the color out side of the OS border to a baby blue and the border to a dark blue..

Here is the link to the test site:.

You should only declare bgclolor once. How about trying this in header.php.

<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="2" style="border-collapse: collapse" width="44%" height="196" bgcolor="#FF0000" cellspacing="2">.

 <tr>.

   <td>.

   <table border="0" cellpadding="2" style="border-collapse: collapse" width="100%" height="156" bgcolor="#00FFFF" cellspacing="2">.

     <tr>.

       <td>.

       <table border="5" cellpadding="0" style="border-collapse: collapse" width="100%" bordercolor="#FFFF00" height="125">.

         <tr>.

           <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF">.

And this in footer.php.

  </td></tr></table>.

      </td></tr>.

    </table>.

  </td>.

 </tr>.

</table>.

The colors and spacing will need to be adjusted to your liking but I think it will work..

To center a shop, you place a table in the header.php file and puts it's closing tag in the footer.php file. If that is what you did, in that table just give it a bgcolor="#ff0000", or whatever color you want. If you want a frame around it, add another table with border="1"..
