I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..
Sids are being created..
Where do I do this - set STORE_SESSIONS to 'mysql'? and how is it working at the moment ? .
My knowldge on sessions is limited as you can gather..
In both catalog and admin/includes/configure.php.
Define('STORE_SESSIONS', ''); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'.
Define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'.
Don't think they are stored at all beyond the session if you do not choose to store in the DB.
Otherwise they are stored somewhere in a temp directory as files I think!..
What is the sessions table for in the DB ? .
To store the sessions I hear you say - but the one in my DB appears to always be empty ???.
Any ideas ? Thanx...
Just a wild guess, you haven't go the 'SID killer' contribution added, have you ? .
Are session id's being created when you visit the store ? .
