That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..

Thanks for that.

Is there anyway you can place it in sub-categories etc though?.

Cheers..

That's a little bit harder, but it should be possible. In categories.php find the following line (Line 54 in my copy):.

   $categories_string .= '<br>';.

And add the following code after it:.

   if ($tree[$counter]['name'] == "My Category Name") {.

     $categories_string .= '<a href="'tep_href_link(FILENAME_MY_PRODUCTS)'">' ..

          TEXT_MY_PRODUCTS'</a><br>';.

   }.

This will add the link right below the subcategory, but only when that subcategory is showing. You will have to make "My Category Name" match the name of the subcategory exactly. There's probably a nicer way to do this, but I can't see it right now..

This code has not been tested, since I don't have a testbed with subcategories loaded right now. It should work, but please test fully before using..

Hi mate,.

Thanks very much for your help so far, I am running into a few problems..

Probably should of said in the first place buy I am using the DHTML/java menu..

So the closes line I have to the one you said to change is....

"$info_box_contents = array();.

$info_box_contents[] = array('align' => 'left',.

'text' => BOX_HEADING_CATEGORIES.

".

If I change that to....

"$info_box_contents[] = array('text' => BOX_HEADING_CATEGORIES ..

<br><a href="'tep_href_link(FILENAME_MY_PRODUCTS)'">' ..

TEXT_MY_PRODUCTS'</a>.

".

I get a parse error..

Any ideas on getting it to work with the dhtml menu? Cheers!..

Sorry, that won't work you're adding the line into the heading for the box. I have no clue how to do this for the DHTML version of the Categories box, since I've never used it. Perhaps you should start another thread with that in the title, or check for a support thread for that Contribution..

Near the bottom of includes/boxes/categories.php find this line:.

 $info_box_contents[] = array('text' => $categories_string);.

And change it to this:.

   $info_box_contents[] = array('text' => $categories_string.

           <br><a href="'tep_href_link(FILENAME_MY_PRODUCTS)'">'.

           TEXT_MY_PRODUCTS'</a>.

You will have to define FILENAME_MY_PRODUCTS in includes/filenames.php and TEXT_MY_PRODUCTS in includes/languages/english.php (as well as other languages if you have them.).

Regards.
