I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..
WOW! THat was pretty harsh. No, no problems with my car but if you are willing we can check it out and see. ALso, I am having some other problems as well.....
Anyway, on with my question. Look, I was just saying what I was using, which is Dreamweaver and CartExpress is the osCommerce program I am using; when I am on there it tells me this is where to go to get information on how to do things. I use CartExpress from One World Hosting. I would not have come to this iPage site looking for answers if this isnt where the program I am using pointed me. SO, if someone does know what I am referring to if they could help me out I would appreciate that..
No you are misunderstanding .. CartExpress is NOT oscommerce. This is the oscommerce forum where we offer free help to.
You are not an oscommerce user = no free help..
Download oscommerce .. set up your shop .. come back here for loads of free help and advice...
Ok commerce question. I am supposed to upload the index.php as part of the files group. I already have an index page for my site? Will I need to change my index to something else or is there a way around this?..
Mark, if you want to "integrate" osCommerce into your existing web site, you may want to give the Simple Template System a look. It will allow you to keep your existing iPage site and bring in osCommerce functionality into your current design. You can download it using the link in my signature below (stsv4.5.8)...
Thank you very much for your time. I will definately look into it. I was very frustrated once I tried to get it all to work and realized the index.php page couldn't upload. Thanks again. OH and I don't need help with my car thanks..

But when I am in CartExpress up in the top right hand corner is a link that says Support iPage site and it sends me here. I dont understand why I cant get any help..
The logo says CartExpress (Powered by osCommerce). why would a link for support point to here and you cant get any help?..
Powered by oscommerce yes but it is not oscommerce it is some type of fork...
So, other than looking around on here and seeing if I can find some answers no one can help me and there is no where else I can go? Dang, that stinks...
Of course there is somewhere you can go .. the people that say they have their own shop system called CartExpress..

Hello everyone! I Hope that someone can help me. I am using dreamweaver and when I open the PHP files that are used in CartExpress I can never "see" the page just a bunch of PHP labels..
I guess the first thing to ask is if there is something that shows what every file does and how we can make changes (i know, that would be too easy right)?.
Second I guess I will give an example:.
In the check out php file I want to be able to change the text box that is there asking for special requests and change it to something else and then add it in to the email that gets sent....how would I go about that?.
I hope that someone can help me. Thank you in advance...
This forum is about osCommerce. Now you are asking how to work with Dreamweaver on CartExpress (whatever that may be)? Perhaps you have trouble with your car also? Maybe we can give advice on that too?..
