Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..
I just discovered that it accepts the state from the text box if it is fully spelled out (e.g. "Pennsylvania") but does not accept the two-letter abbreviation (e.g. "PA"). So I would like to get it to either accept the two-letter abbreviations or to offer the pull-down menu the first time it asks for a state..
Thanks for any thoughts on this..
I noticed no one has replied and I am playing with the same thing. I'll let you know if I have any luck..
I'll keep working on it too. If I figure it out, I'll let you know..
This is what I used to fix this problem:.
State Abbreviation Fix.
Easy to do, just some code changing in 4 files. HTH!.
I'll give it a try..
I appreciate you pointing that out..
I used the code from hdt (Not surprisingly I got a......) from.
Thread to make a drop down list for US states and Cdn. provinces and it works great. Have a look it might be what you are looking for...
When creating an account, the first page asks for (among other things) a state (w/ a textbox not a pulldown menu). Then, even with a legitimate entry, the next page flags that as an error and asks that the state be entered, and then does give a pulldown. How can I get the pulldown for states on the page from the beginning?.
I could really use some help with this one. Since my original post, I looked through the script pretty hard to figure this out, but... I'm still scratching my head..
If you can help me with this I'd sure appreciate a note. Or if my explanation of the problem wasn't clear, let me know that and I'll try to clarify..
