I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can help you..

So, I guess what you meant to say was that OSCommerce was working fine, until you broke it...

I guess wizardsandwars is right. Your configure.php looks quite empty to me other than you have blanked out the username and password for your database. There is no info concerning your url/domain in there. Than you can not expect it to work. Where would osCommerce look for it's files? The internet?.

Regards.

Richard..

Perhaps you should re-visit your original post, Clark. You come across as almost 'accusing' OSC of not being able to work in IE. From the responses you received, it looks like Steve took it the same way I did. You did not say what you changed, you did not even say that you changed anything..

If you are going to rely on written communication in order to ask for help, the first thing you need to do is make sure you are conveying the problem correctly...

Oh ok...hehe...well I just figured it is common sense that it works in IE until someone screws it up...like me..anyhoo I got it all back working except when I click on a menu item or product the link it tries to go to looks like this.

There is no "/" after the .com... lighten up wizard dude geez..

Again, you have incorrectly edited your configure.php. In particular, you probably want DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG defined as '/'..

If you want help, clearly describe the problem and don't be offended when your incomprehensible questions get misinterpreted...

Well, your general statement is simply incorrect. osCommerce works fine in MSIE, as well as Netscape, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and probably most reasonably current browsers. The HTML is almost HTML 4.01 compliant, and where it is not it is using popular extensions..

I would guess that you have incorrect settings in configure.php that Netscape "helpfully" fixed for you invisibly. Since you did not give us a link to look at, that's all I can suggest for now...
