I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can help you..
Thanks for the quick reply, I have changed enable ssl to true but I am struggling with the paths to use seeing as my ssl folder is outside my public_html folder..
These are the folders I see in smartftp.
I read on another post that I needed to copy the entire catalog into my ssl folder, so I did and still cannot get it to work..
A lot of it depends upon how your host set up the paths for ssl. you should send off a help desk request, sometimes in the FAQ's on the host web site, you will find out what you need to do for ssl...
You shouldn't have to upload any files to a SSL folder.... talk to whoever set up your iPage hosting account. the SSL should be mapped to your iPage domain name, it basically should mirror it. https:// and http:// should point to the exact same directory if everything is set up correctly...
Put your files back in your public folder, you won't be able to access them outside of it!.
If you installed a cert, then you installed it for a specific domain. Use the iPage domain you bought with https:.
There is no moving of page content for ssl. That folder is for the program code and certs not web pages..
If the above iPage domain works then in your configure.php change your https entry to match the above...
Thanks for all your replies, After a long conversation with comodo support yesterday and double checking everything I found that my webhost had not setup the dedicated ip address correctly..
That has now been done and my host is going to install the certs for me..
So lets see what problems come up this time!.
Why are web hosts such bad people to get responses from (or is it just mine!)???.
So when I get some news I will probably be back to say that I cant get my config files right or some other simple task that I am too thick to sort myself!.
Hi, Me Again!.
Okay I ave now been told that the certs are installed and now I just need to sort the configure.php file..
I thought I had done everything I needed to do but I get 'Page Not Found' when I try and get it to work..
Will someone have a look at my config file and tell me what I am doing wrong..
// Define the webserver and path parameters.
// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical).
// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL).
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.24-7mobileaccessories.co.uk'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers.
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.24-7mobileaccessories.co.uk'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers.
define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?.
Please can you help me with this as it is really buging me!.
Pages are non-existent on your https domain:.
Also, the Cert is not installed correctly as the common name should be the.
- yours is just "24-7mobileaccessories" by the look of it..
Get your host to try again..

Thanks for your reply, I have sent an email with your comments to my web host and lets see what he says..
What do you mean by the pages are non-existant on the https domain? Does this mean they need to be somewhere other than where the store is now?.
Is my configure.php correct? or am I still missing something?.
