Is Godaddy Cpanel any good?
Got a quick question: Is Godaddy Cpanel any good? Thanks for any answer or 2. My 2nd question... Hi First of all I like to say hi. First post on the forum. So dont go harsh on me.

I dont have that much knowlegde about html but I was wondering where I should place the google adsense code. This is the htm page Im using:.

I have noticed before that if I place it anywhere between the coding it will be situated directly at the top. Anyone any ideas why and how to solve it?.

I would like it to be placed underneath this line:.

Much appreciated. I forgot to mention that the adsense code is javascript but I guess most of you are aware of this...

Ye, but you might want to make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm my answer as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you email the Godaddy guys because they can answer your Godaddy question better...

Ok, where is your google code though?.

I didn't think the code you first posted was in it's entirety ... I can actually see from your CSS why your google ad's aren't positioning in the right place though. You have everything positioned absolutely, which is why this problem is occurring...

Ok so what should I need to do to change this. The idea is that I can determine myself where I would like the adsense code to show up.

The code Im using for adsense is :..

Well considering all your other elements on the page are positioned absolutely the only way you will get the google adsense to display where you want is to position it absolutly within a container...

Thanks for the help and your patience. I just gave it a try and it works great...

One final question. I HAve tried adding the container and that seems to work fine although it seems to overwrite the text. Is there a way to force the the text to move up or down so that the container wont be on top of the text. Thanks..

Overwrite the text? I have no idea what your page is doing without looking at the page sorry .....

Here is a example of what I mean. You can see that the banner is floating over some text. What I was wondering how I would be able to get it right between text. I know I probably would have to change the positions of the text and the ad but I need to insert this banner for multiple pages and It will be pretty complex to do that. So the question is, how can add the google adsense code anywhere in the html of the page without having to worry that it wont overlap the text...

You know, you would make things a whole lot easier on yourself if you were to position your elements without "position: absolute;" ... this is what's causing you the problem...

I know it would but I cant Im using a tool that converts a pdf file of mine into html...

Ahh I see ... makes things slightly more difficult then. Your best bet would be to leave the Google ad's off your page completely IMO...
