Of course! although you might want to make sure and wait for another person to confirm this as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you call the iPage guys because they can answer you better...
Thanks for the advice..
I looked in phpmyadmin but I cant seem to find an optimize tool of any sort..
Is it a command I need for the query prompt?.
Thanks for your help. I sincerely appreciate it...
You can go to the phpmyadmin iPage site for how to access the database tools, I use mysql connector or the mysql prompt myself, basically it is calling up mysqlisamchk..
I found the instructions on this page and followed them..
The outpur after running check, analyze, repair and optimize didnt show me anything that might have been wrong so I guess I'll have to wait and see if it continues to have problems..
I'm really keeping my fingers crossed on this one..
Thanks for your help...
I received a few orders overnight and have found that the database is still reporting product quantity in the admin page as -1..
This really worries me. I've become reliant on the iPage website generated sales to help me pay some bills..
Any further help would be appreciated (and would let me sleep tonight)..
I've been running OSC for almost a year and havent had any problems. However, I noticed last week, that I was finding products that had been turned to "red" on the admin/categories with a quantity of -1..
So I went in and changed the quantity to 500 and after a few orders of the product, it was changed back to -1 and removed from what is displayed in the product listing (the red indicator again)..
At first, I thought it was only doing this in just two categories but today have found it is doing it in multiple categories..
I did a file comparison between every file on the server and the ones I store locally and nothing has changed. I havent made any mods to the store for several months. Because of this info, I suspect the database is corrupted and I have no idea what to do..
Any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated..
Go in with mysql connector or phpmyadmin and 'analyze' the tables with the tools, optimize them, etc and see what happens..
