You betcha! but you might want to make sure and wait for another member here to confirm my answer as I am unsure of myself. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the iPage guys because they can answer your iPage question better...
Thank you, yes, I am using admin to add product and image, my previous listing's images range from 80-150kb, everything is the same routine. I am adding on product 1-260 all ok, when listing product #261, this problem occur, I try using smaller image size (ie. 50kb) still does not work. This is the message that is showing after you click preview and insert with admin on the product listing: Warning: No file uploaded...
This error message occurs every time when you add or edit product in admin, if you don't upload image. I think osC wants that you upload image again every time you edit product....
How much you have free space on your server?.
I have 70 gig of webspace is this shared-server I am using now. only used about 50 meg or less so far..
I did try to upload new image again, with different image size, or different image format or one that work for previous product. all failed. It is like I reach a limit with the listing procedure with image in the admin. it can take all the text, html code in description, price and quantity. Only the Image cannot be uploaded by the admin script now..
This is driving me crazy..
You know what, I left the iPage website for about 12 hours, come back and the adding image function is working now. Strange huh? must be a bug in there somewhere..
But thank god, it corrected itself. Cuz, I cann't figure out what to do with the problem..
"And my server living it's own life...".
I really know what you mean:.
I built to my customers shop a little checking system for images. It checks with PHP's file_exist() function if his product images are physically on server and if not, system replaces them with "no_picture.gif"..
Ok, at first it worked fine when I gave a logical path (http://... etc.) to file_exist() function. After one week it didn't work at all. Well, then I just tried to gave it a physical path and... *MAGIC* ... file_exist() function worked again..
At few days ago, same problem exists once again. Ok, back to logical paths and... I think you guessed it already... function works again!.
Right now I'm only waiting when my checking system decide to want physical paths again.....
I was listing products in my oscommerce website, everything was doing fine, products has been inserted to about 300 items. And then all the sudden, description and details was able to added to new product, but image cannot be uploaded automaticly by clicking the image (browse to) option. a message will show up in red on the top stating " no image has been loaded" or something similar, I checked my image folder the write permission is still 777. What can be the problem?? thanks..
Have you added those products from admin section?.
Have you checked sizes of those images through FTP?.
I have problems when I first uploaded images and then added products through admin section. Id I entered image name script replaced all earlier uploaded images with 0 Kb images.
