My 1st question is: Is the Marketplace on iPage.com safe? Looking forward for any answer. Second question.. Is there a way to turn off user registration in osCommerce. I want the user to be able to checkout without having to go through the registration procedure...

You betcha! however you might wanna make sure and wait for another person here to confirm it as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you contact the iPage guys because they can help better...

Not a problem. But I must warn you, it's not working out exactly as I'd hoped (then again I am trying to create a very customized store). If you run into any snags, let me/us know...

I don't know much about osCommerce, I only started working with it a few days ago. I never got an error when I installed it. I tried it on a Win2000 computer with Apache 1.3 and PHP 4.3.1. Do you have any others contributions installed that could have interfered?..

This mod allows your customers to checkout, without creating an account (no password/newsletter)..

When allowed in admin, there will be a new box on the login-page for guests..

Guests will not be asked for or see these options:.

Password,.

Newsletter.

Products Notifications.

The Create Account Success page.

The Account created mail.

My Account and Logoff (in header navigation)..
