First of all IS THE Nutrisystem DIET ALL THEY ADS SAY IT IS? Many thanks for any comment. Second question.. One thing I REALLY like about this program (am new to it) is that I'm no longer going out to eat every night..

I had literally had every single item on the local bar menu. Had NOTHING in my fridge. Was drinking 2-4 drinks per night and blowing 20-50 per night. Now, I'm saving money. Eating more healthy. Even doing a better job going to the gym (to fill the time in the evening, not in a bar)..

Was a little intimidated, but had fun buying veggies and pots and pans (well I had some, but finding stuff I still needed). Wnet overboard first week and had to toss a lot of fruit, but I am getting a handle on it..

Even feel like I'm learning how to cook (just basic stuff like steaming veggies, following directions in Joy of Cooking). But it's learning for me...

Yep, but... you might want to make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm this as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Nutrisystem guys because they can assist you better...

Here's what I use:.

Chocolate Chip Muffins.

1 package N.S. Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix.

1/3 cup Milk (as directed on package).

1 TBS Flour.

1/4 tsp. each Baking Soda and Baking Powder.

Mix all ingredients and divide between 2 muffin cups, that have been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes..

Plain N.S. Pancake mix, add 1 chopped Nutri-Chocolate to the batter, or add 1/2 of a banana.

Use the N.S. Blueberry Pancake Mix for Blueberry Muffins...

I like that my wife doesn't have to hold dinner for me. Her and the kids eat earlier and I sometimes get to play 9 holes after work... for exercise you know...

I had never seen this one before and thought I would try it. I made 6 Blueberry muffins last night, I had 3 mixes that I wasn't using quickly, and had two of them for breakfast this morning. They were good but were missing something..

I was wondering, what if you added 1 TBSP of light syrup to the mix? The syrup that I have is 80 cals for 3 TBSP so adding 1 wouldn't be too much of an add but might just give the flavor that I crave with pancakes...

I added various flavors and fruits etc. Nothing makes them wonderful. Just a change of pace. Also the fact I bought 150 packages from Big Lots at 50 cents each makes me continue to experiment for obvious reasons...
