My 1st question is: Is there a REAL FREE website iPage hosting service? Looking forward for any response. Second question of mine... HI there,.

I am really nervous now, till now everything was going fine, but today when I tested none of the emails are going when you order items, it's going to the customer and it's going to yahoo services but it's not going to the store /img/avatar8.jpg,why would that be, please help I really need this fixed...!..

The answer is Yes, although you might wanna make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm my answer as I am unsure. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the iPage guys because they can assist you better...

Yea send email is working fine, it's going every where, the extra copy is also going fine, the funny thing is order emails send to store owner is not reaching but same email address in send extra order emails reaches....

Why is that..

No idea.. Try adding a different email address @yourispaddress.com or @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com or whatever... See if that fixes it so atleast you'll know then if it's the cart or the email address's mail server blocking....

Well the email is reaching to EXTRA COPY address but not reaching at STORE OWNER address, so atleast something is working, any idea wht would be the reason???..

Can you email your stone owner address? Try doing it from that email or another (not through OSC) to rule out the possibility that you have the email configured wrong...

Ok this is what happening,.

No emails are reaching the store owner address no matter what I put.

But emails to send extra copy is going.

All my emails are working , all copies to customer is going, I'm also able to send emails to customer from send email in admin.

Is it problem with OSC or with my iPage hosting company?.

You need to answer the questions the folks are asking you, they're trying to help, instead of stating the problem over and over..

Did you look in your spam folder?.

Are you *sure* there's no typo?.

Did you try a different email address just to see?.

Answers will help narrow down where the problem lies, and answer your question..

I dont have spam set up in my email address, or r you speaking abt somthing I dont know.

Yea I m sure there is no typo thats why I kept repeating the emails that dont reach in store email address, when I put them in the extra copy email reaches.

Did you try a different email address just to see?.

Yes I did with different address and I used the same address in send extra copy and they worked..

OK then, so if you used a different address and that worked - it doesn't look like it's an oscommerce thing..

When I said spam folder, I was referring to any measures you use on your email to counter junk mail - it's possible it's refusing it for some reason...

I ve tried everything from different email addresses to setting SMTP to sendmail, CRLF, send extra order emails...nothing! Every other function in email works, from tell-a-friend to customer confirmation to Send Email in the admin..NOTHING!.

I set this in create_account.php to see if that would work....

// send account email copy to store owner.

  $extra_email_text .= EMAIL_NEW_ACCOUNT'<br><br><b>New account made by:</b><br>'$firstname' '$lastname'<br>' $city'<br> '$email_address;.

If (SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO != '') {.

 tep_mail('', SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO, 'New account', $extra_email_text, STORE_OWNER, STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS);.

}.

// end extra account email.

I checked table_configuration and STORE_OWNER and STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS are in there, with the proper email....

What? Why? How?..

1) Is your email correct in the admin section of the cart?.

2) Have you tried adding a different email address completely to make sure your host's spam blocker is not blocking them?.

3) Have you tested the "Contact Us" section to see if you get emails that way?..
