The answer is Yes, but you might wanna make sure and wait for another person to confirm my answer as I am unsure of myself. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the iPage guys because they can answer you better...

Your admin is there and working fine..

Suggestions are thus..

Define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/usr/local/apache/htdocs/shop/');.

Change to.

Define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/usr/local/apache/htdocs/shop');.

Define('STORE_SESSIONS', '');.

Change to.

Define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql');.

And then in catalog/includes/configure.php do the same..

In admin directory create a directory backups with permissions CHMOD 777.

I noticed that this is based in France, are you accessing the admin in french or english as there are no french files in the admin/includes/languages directory..

You will need to add the admin language in french..

Access can be gained if you type shop/admin/index.php?language=en..

Oh... maybe it's a pb with mozilla, firefox and IE... I don't know.. Thank you for your help. And I want to know how can I securise the admin session? With a loggin and password...

Thanx..

If you go to the admin and select french then you will get a blank screen because there is no french language in the admin languages, you need french in both catalog side and admin side so the issue is not a browser one unless your browser is set to default language french..

You can use an .htaccesss file to protect the admin, this can usually be done through the control panel provided by your host..

You can also install an admin access contribution as a means of protection..

Can you provide a link to the issue..

Post your configure.php files leaving out the database information from the bottom..

This may be a configuration issue...
