Question I have... Is there any charge from ISP's (MTNL) for creating our own websites by using iPage? Many thanks for any answer. Another question on my mind: I newly installed osCommerce.

And it was all fine after installation.

But when I deleted the sample categories this what happened.

How can I solve this issue.

Ye, although you might wanna make sure and wait for another member here to confirm it as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the iPage guys because they can assist you better...

Well, it's a template, and you've messed up the table structure of it now. The table structure in these templates are often a nightmare anyway, so even if they do work at the beginning any change is likely to throw them out of whack..

And I'm afraid that no on here can assist you with that problem, other than to advise that you add some more Categories to see if that fixes the problem for now..

Vger..

I am re-installing it now,.

I am thinking of adding my categories then delete the old ones and see what happens,.

Thank you for your reply, I will update my experience in a while..

I have reinstalled it and yet when I added a category it went off road!!!!..

Contacrt your template provider OR nix the template.. it seems you actually need to be a BETTER programmer to use a template than to start from scratch..

In osCommerce the Categories are dynamically generated when you add Categories in osc Admin. With these templates, in order to give the Categories a fancy look they use an html table structure and that structure is rigid. They do this mostly because they're too stupid to know how to do it with CSS..

Thank you for the support,.

But I would like to know what to do now?.

Is there any solution for this? or should I use the default!.

Or is there any compatible templates that I can use?.

Thanks a lot.

I know I am a little pain in the a**..

Try to get a refund on the template. You're unlikley to get one, but you can try..

Install the default osCommerce and then have a look to see if there are any "free" templates in the Contributions section here..

Sunshine4lb why are you advertising in your signature? I believe this is against forum rules!!.

It also implies to me you have other motives for coming here & don't really need the help you ask for...

I don't have other motives.

I am just a member who needs help.

And I will remove my signature.

Thank you for the tip, and I wish I get the help I need ASAP.
