First off, I've registered my domain name for my website at iPage.com, whats next? Thanks for any answer. 2nd question I got is.. I have the contribution Links Manager installed in two shops. After submitting a link, the link_success.php file is called. In one shop the continue button on that page doesn't function correctly - it just causes the same page to reload. The code used to determine the path for the continue button is:.

If (sizeof($navigation->snapshot) > 0) {.

   $origin_href = tep_href_link($navigation->snapshot['page'], tep_array_to_string($navigation->snapshot['get'], array(tep_session_name())), $navigation->snapshot['mode']);.

   $navigation->clear_snapshot();.

 } else {.

   $origin_href = tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT);.

 }.

Can someone explain the purpose of $naviagtion->snapshot? Is this defined somewhere so that I can look it up? I've searched Wiki but didn't find anything..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could assist you..

$navigation->snapshot is used to set the last page you were on. I don't really understand the code below, but I know I've used it before in something like this:.

If (customer not logged in){.

Navigation->set_shapshot.

Tep_redirect(login.php).

}.

This is very much psuedo-code, it's too early in the morning to format that correctly..

Anyway, that basically stores the last page the customer was on in a variable, then redirects to the login page. Once he's logged in, it will take him right back where he was. You can find the same thing in a few places like shopping_cart.php, checkout_shipping.php, probably account.php, I dont' know what else. Any page that requires you to log in first will have it..

This post was really intended to be of use, but it got a bit OT...I hope it helps you anyway...

Can I assume that both shops have the FILENAME_DEFAULT set as index.php.

Does either shop have a links category which has enough links to require more than the one page in order to show all the links in that category.

I appreciate any help..

I knew it was trying to get the last page from the way the code is. But it is not working so I need to understand what the arguments are for. Seems to me I've ran across a listing of functions at one point but I can't find them now..

Yes, they are both set to index.php. No, the non-working iPage site had the most in one category and that was only four. Just to be sure though, I just added five to a category in the working iPage site and the continue button still functions correctly..

If you need a list of functions and what they do, check out this site:.

Http://www.oscdox.co...html?index.html.

It's not completely exhaustive, but it will at least tell you where to find whatever function you need...

Thanks Chris but I'm not looking to find a function. I need to understand what the function is doing or why it is failing. I'm sure there is someone out there with the knowledge of OSC that can answer this question but it doesn't appear he's reading these forums..
