Got a question, hope someone can answer... Looking for organic soap & sea salt Medifast recipes? Thanks for any response. My 2nd question... Has anyone ever tried honey post-op? What was your experience?..

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could give you help..

Good question...I was actually wondering the same thing. Anyone else try the agave sweetener made from cactus?..

Used both honey and agave but they are both sugars basically so if you aren't supposed to do sugar I'd.

Avoid.

What are you using it for? a drizzle in tea *probably* won't give you issues... 1/2 a cup in a recipe might be a ticket to dump city...

I was just thinking about using it with hot tea but I was also curious about recipes, too. I was a huge cook pre-op (pardon thee pun), and i'm gettiing back into the swing of things but with completey healthy foods. BTW, thanks Shelly for all of your recipes!.

I did also make an AWESOME SF apple crisp last night! It has about 36 carbs per serving which I wish were fewer, but everything in it is healthy!.

I use Sugar Free Vanilla Torani or Caramel.

, Recipes, Baking, Protein Ice Creams, etc.) I love SF Caramel in Ceylon and Vanilla is Rooibos. I don't have issues with Splenda (SF Torani is basically a flavored Splenda suspension)..

I have. First time was without thinking because of a pneumonia cough and did tea with honey to help with that. Towards the end of the cup it hit me there was about 1/2 tsp of honey in it..

No Dumping Syndrome. I did fine. I have used it a couple times since then and no problem..

Had a chicken salad today and the cook said it had honey in it and again no problems; however, it is in very small amounts...

I was told simple sugars are a big bad no no and honey is one of those.... no matter how natural or organic it is! Ask your dietician first...
