My 1st question is: Medifast Diet - Phase 1 Breakfasts? Many thanks for any answer. My other question... Other topics will be discussed that may not be appropriate for the easily offended..

Please discontinue reading Tough Love threads if they are going to cause you to become upset..

Medifast is a wonderful program with many different types of support and a fabulous community. We understand that everyone is an adult and this is not a "mean" group. For some of us, we thrive on this program if we have a place where we are held accountable, where we commit to the program 100% and where we have a place to chat with others who feel the same..

What we believe:.

1. Cheating on Medifast is NOT a strategy to get us out of our fat suits.

2. The only way for us to learn about our problems with food is to take the word "choice" out of the equation when it comes to Medifast. Our only "choice" is 5 packets and 1 weighed and measured lean and green a day.

3. We look to those who have been successful with this strategy to continuously remind us about why this way, for us, is the way to go.

4. We believe that, even though we are completely committed, knowing that we have a group that holds us accountable for our actions is both useful and important.

We commit to:.

1. Remove the word "choice" from our vocabularies.

2. Follow the Medifast plan as written, including transition and maintenance.

3. Tell our "inner brat" to shut the H-E-** up and quiet him or her through abstenance from off plan foods.

4. Give and receive tough love without complaining or calling each other "mean".

5. Cheerlead fellow group members as they follow the path to thinness.

6. Make Medifast the LAST diet we ever go on.

7. Check in with the group as often as our schedule reasonably allows.

8. Be honest with ourselves and our Medifast family and to stay 100% OP at all times. We also swear that WHEN (not if) we are having a tough time and feel like we may eat SLUDGE, to come to our Medifast family first and ask for support and help to get us through the struggle..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

Hi Freezy Weezy, thanks for starting today's thread..

Are there any health coaches out there who are going to attend TSFL in Orlando in July? I'm not a coach (yet) but I will be attending..

Freezy weezy is for sure! It is in the single digits here and they don't heat the school over the weekend, so the stage is really cold. I turn the stage lights on for heat. I'm sure the real heat would be much cheaper. Have agreat day Kitty!..

Morning all. I'm off to hug the coffee maker and catch up on yesterday...

Morning all! Just started my first cup of coffee (mixed with hot cocoa of course)..

We have a fun weekend planned. We are calling it our family fun valentine weekend. lol! I know we are cheesy, but I love us..

Today it's swimming lessons shopping and then we are taking the little guy to see Tangled..

Tomorrow it's the zoo..

I love weekends were I'm not spending the whole time doing chores and grocery shopping. Too bad I can't neglect the house cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping every weekend..

My family would fall apart if I did though...

Penny, is today the day? I'm so excited to find out your hubby's reaction...

Good Morning TLers!.

Thanks for starting us of, Barb. After you perserver through your very full day (minus blizzards) you get to belebrate with your DH. Enjoy. It all spounds like fun to me..

I am going to take my AM (before fpood) meds right now, then planning on a nice suup coffee and some blueberry oatmeal. Wow! That's a day in itself sometimes. I am going to try to get out of the house and go to Sam's Clucb with my DH. It is already 29 degress oiutside, so I am hopeful. Hot or cold temps suck the energy out of me before I reach the garage, so this is a promising start to imagine. I miss flesh and blood people!.

Enjoy you days full of joy OP..

Morning TLers! Thanks for starting us up, Fuzzy. Sounds like you have a busy but fun Saturday ahead. Stay warm!.

Bethie thanks for always bringing a ray of sunshine with your posts..

Chickie Enjoy those lovely family times. Sounds delightful..

Kitty, do you have any other details on the TSFL meeting in Orlando? Might be good to check out just as a user. I don't aspire to be a health coach, either, btw. But I do find I'm starting to feel a little "religious" about MF, and going to a "revival" would be fun. Anyway, is it a meeting or convention or training session just to be a TSFL leader? Just wondered if you knew..

Well, I hope everyone has a great OP weekend!..

I'm excited to hear how Penny's day goes today. I'd love to see the look on DH's face when you spring all this on him...

I've been having more and more food porn dreams. They aren't getting me down as much anymore. In these dreams I'm stuffing myself to the point of practically passing out. If anything, these dreams are just a reminder of how it felt when I really did that and how I never ever want to be that person again..

I really, really want to release that person and never have her in me again. My husband and co-workers are being much more supportive this time rather than the last time I was on MF. Last time it was "haven't you lost enough?" "can't you have just this one thing?" "when will you be able to eat normal again?".

Well I think they finally got it when they saw how I could gain back all that weight it literally two months. The answer to all of their questions is a big fat NO!! I didn't make it to goal and I didn't go through T&M, so I hadn't fixed anything. All I did was another lose weight quick diet..

Now they don't make any comments when they see me turn down sludge. What's more important is that they don't offer me sludge themselves anymore. It really makes me feel good to know that they already know what my answer will be, so why even try..

I'm not one of those people that put on an extra 10 lbs and need to watch it for a bit to get back in shape. I have a food addiction and since I have to have food to live, I have to change my way of life and learn to use food the right way. This is a life change and one I intend to make..

Wow! sorry, I didn't know I had a blog in me this morning. lol! <copy/paste> I might want to read this one again later...

Enjoy your day Bethie! I'm so happy you are going to get out for a bit. Isn't it funny when 29 degrees feels like a heat wave this time of year..

We are going to hit 40 today I think and I don't even plan on wearing a jacket. lol!..

Good morning, TLers! Yes, today is the day! Our dinner reservation is at 6:30 PM eastern, so the news will be broken roughly 7:30 ish. I will give a full report either tonight or first thing in tne morning..

Now those of you whom I've known for a period of time know that I am absolutely not a chronic weigher. Once a week and that's it. In fact, I'd even go longer than that, but it seems to get me in trouble when I avoid the scale for longer than a week. This morning I decided to get on the scale because I've had a slow couple of weeks... I got my WHOOSH! FOUR POUNT SEVEN POUNDS! Or 4.7 lbs. Whichever looks bigger! Ha ha! That's since Monday! Woo Hoobety Hoo!..

Morning, Folks! sucking up the coffee - I slept in until 7:30! That's awesome! My husband and cats and dog left me alone and I just SLEPT. You just know it's going to be a good day when you wake up and don't have to drag yourself out of bed...

Beth, enjoy Sams Club! I love that place! I have a Business Membership and I often stop in before work - it's on the way. It's nice to be in the club with it's empty. The only downside is that there is only one cashier usually and I'm behind someone with a flatbed full of stuff..

Chickie, your weekend sounds wonderful. I love schmaltzy stuff like that..

Nan & Kitty, if you can get to Orlando, I highly recommend it. There is nothing else like Convention. And I'm not even speaking from experience. I thought about going this year and making it our family vacation, but the cruise won out. I've been to a Super Saturday, though, which is like a mini convention, with Dr. Andersen and Dan Bell.

So let me pick some brains in here. I was fully planning to begin 4+2 on Monday so I could get back in the gym with my husband. I love our time in the gym together and I miss it. But you see the losses I get with I don't go to the gym. I guess if I carefully balance my workouts with my food plan, I should get the same results. SHOULD being the operative word.

I've never ventured into 4+2 territory, although I've read lots of success stories. It seems like, so long as I stick with lower carb veggie choices in that second L&G, I should be ok. Recommendations? Tips? Suggestions?..

Morning, Steph! We cross-posted! I'm off to grab Komodo Dragon #2.....

I think it just depends on you, Penny. For me, it would have been a bad idea. I played with the idea when I was losing in 5&1, because I wanted to run more, but in the end decided that it was a bad idea =for me=, with lots of advice from my Rogue buddies that actually went both ways..

The trouble is that I'm the queen of excuses. Slippery slopes exist because if I can't find one, I make one. And I've got a one track mind - only one thing can be THE MOST IMPORTANT THING to me at a time. When it came right down to it, I chose to keep losing the most important thing, staying on plan the most important thing, and I waited until T&M to let my exercise creep up. Well, sort of - I definitely pushed the 45 minute limit by the end, but I made a real effort to make losing the weight the focus until I got to goal..

The other thing was that Vie talked some reality to me on the 4&2 thing. I had convinced myself that the slight muscle loss I was seeing was because of my protein intake instead of because I was pushing the 5&1 exercise limits. The truth is that on 5&1 we're getting WELL more than the RDA of protein. We're well up into the levels that weight lifters get, in fact. I didn't need more protein - I needed to either exercise less, or get off 5&1 and add enough calories back in to support my exercise. 4&2 =for me= wouldn't have addressed the real issues, which wasn't protein at all but simply too much exercise for the calories I was eating.

I think all you can really do is look closely at yourself, your motivations, your habits, your goals, and make a choice. This is such an individual issue that all we can really do is tell you our experience, which may or may not benefit you. But I will ask you this - isn't this exercise thing one of the things you went through on your last journey through 5&1? Take a look at that experience and try to see if there was anything in that mental state that helped derail you. No, of course I'm not saying that exercise is the cause - I'm just saying that some combination of things led you a little astray last time. It may be helpful to you to look at that closely and make sure you're doing it differently this time...

Morning all, not time for much today....

Hope you all have a great OP tday.. friends are joining us for lunch and then not sure what we'll do...

Good morning all.

Have to share my tough love story today... not Medifast related.... My 14 year old son has just not been listening and it is driving me insane.. I find myself yelling all the time (which I absolutely hate doing)... This morning I broke and totally punished him for the weekend.. Took away a movie he was going with today (with a girl) and tomorrow I was taking him and 4 friends to Dave & busters ad canceled that....

I hated doing it but he needs to learn consequences because my DH and I will not go back on our words.... Sometimes it's soooo tough being a parent but he needs to make good choices and I hope he learns from this.....

Now about me down 3.2 but my official weigh in is Monday so we will see what happens but I did change my ticker....

Busy day ahead but supermarket is done... Now off to mani & pedi rhen workout then party tonight.

Have a great day all.

Happy Saturday-temps heading up slowly....Oh yea.....I told you spring was a coming....

Have a great night Penny-can't wait to hear how hubs reacts..

Chickie-We are a super cheesy family too. I don't get away with it anymore unless I bribe them. They are 18,20 and 21 but lots of cheesy pasts......

Waves to all-enjoy your leisurely Saturday folks...I am taking a day off from house sale readiness.........The hubs left me a book and some hot cocoa on my pillow as a suprise and said snuggle up with the fireplace, a blanket and relax....I think I will.

Penny-When I did 5&1 I totally over did the 45 minute a day and never went to 4&2. I power walked 60 minutes, 6 miles a day and did strength work 4 days a week for 30. The only time I was a little off my brain game was TOM. I did have to slow it down when it started for a couple days. My losses were steady at 2.5 week the whole time. IDK what is right really but it worked for me.

Open 5 and cook 1. I know I would have started playing with the cals with dairy and grain had I changed it up...

Good morning Tlers..

Chickie - I am having my coffee and hot cocoa too. Good stuff. Your family weekend sounds great. We are going out to or VDay dinner tomorrow night. Me, my husband and our 4 year old. Very romantic...

But lots of fun..

Beth - Have a great day!.

Penny - Can't wait to hear how it goes tonight. You know we will all be thinking of you tonight..

Penny, Lynne and Corbie - thanks for the post re: exercising. I was just mulling this over in my mind last night. I have been losing weight so well and now I really need to get rid of the excess fat. I was wondering the same thing: Do I go to 4 & 2 and pick up the exercising or not? I agree with you Corbie, it is a slippery slope and I think I may be using it as an excuse. Always good to get the advice of you girls who have been there. Thanks again..

Cindy - Good job on the tough love. That is never easy..

Good morning and happy Saturday to all. I am excited for housework, grocery shopping, some gardening and a beautiful sun shiney day!!!..

Steph, your queen of excuses description sounded like me, too. That is what worries me about adding another choice to my day. Of course, taking the weight off and getting back to goal is The Most Important Thing to me right now. Its within sight and totally doable. I suppose nothing says I cant still go to the gym and just get a normal amount of not-too-hard activity. Nothing says I HAVE to do the 300-lb.

If I burn a maximum of 200 calories or so per workout, though, this is going to put me at a dangerously low level. I do agree about the protein. My intake is around 90g a day. Thats a good deal more than the RDA for me at my weight. As far as what derailed me last time, I was totally detached from 5+1.

The desire was there, but I wasnt ready to wrap my head around the commitment. I did another protein-heavy food plan that packed the pounds onto my body really fast. Of course, there was a good deal of muscle. But there was a good deal of not muscle, too. I did that plan because I wanted to get strong again after my surgery and work with weights.

I do think that for now I will stick with whats working. Ill go to the gym every now and then with my hubby so I can flirt with him (!) but it wont be right before weigh-in, and I wont be pushing myself to the limit. Thanks for putting such thought into that answer for me. Sometimes I just need another voice of reason...

Morning Tl's.

Cali- have fun at lunch.

Beth -good luck with Sam's club.

Penny-have a great night. See you tomorrow..

Cindy- I feel your pain with your son. Mine 16 soon to be 17 and it's a new battle every week..

Chickie-you rock!.

Okay my brains needs more cooffe and I have to get ready to go to the slopes. Last day of lessons!!!!!.

Sorry to all those I missed..

It going to be balmy today we may hit 40*. Heat wave!!!!!!!!.

Have a great day all...

That's what we all need. I know I hang out here for two reasons - passing on the help that people like you gave me, AND sometimes I STILL need to be reminded. The voice of reason is sometimes, for me, the difference between a great, successful, on plan day and a stupid attack...

Morning all!.

The 1st time on Medifast I worked out 4days/week and it didn't seem to affect my weight loss negatively. This time, because I'm doing a more intense calorie burning activity I'll be paying close attention if it affects me. But I like the feeling and energy I get by working out so I'm not willing to give that up. I do usually get in an extra shake the day of my work out or make sure I eat higher carb veggies..

Good Luck tonight Penny!.

I'm at work, so I need to refill my coffee!..

Good morning TLer's! I've been up for a while now but had a ton of stuff to do, including a quick check of my Medifast meals to double check what I need to reorder..

Thanks for the exercise input, I've been thinking about it myself, plus I'm on my feet walking all day at work, so I was looking at 4 & 2. Even though I am 100% committed, I don't think 4 & 2 would be a good idea for me right now, too much wiggle room. I agree that not overdoing it at the gym and sticking to the higher carb green choices is the the best way for ME, right now at least. Some people may be able to handle 4 & 2 better, right now I like the 5 packets and only worrying about 1 meal a day..

In good news, ALL of my current jeans are loose or falling off! My "skinny" jeans don't quite fit yet, so it's a good excuse to wear sweatpants all weekend! I wear elastic waist/drawstring scrubs at work so there's no hurry to buy new pants yet. If I need an in-between pair or two I'll hit up the Salvation Army. There's a HUGE one about a half hour from me, and when the pants no longer fit I'll donate them back..

Have a great OP day everyone! Let's pray my DH doesn't forget to lock the fridge again today, I have some lamb chops defrosting and don't want the dogs to get them!.

One more thing, and this is great and what I've been waiting for and working towards: MY WEDDING BAND AND ENGAGEMENT RING FIT AGAIN!!!.

I was thinner when we got married and as I gained weight and more weight I couldn't wear my rings. I think it's been about 6 months now. Just in time for Valentine's Day!.

Yay, Tara! Congrats on the jeans and the rings! I also have a big "Sally Boutique" that is a godsend when the sizes are dropping. I used them a lot last round. I donated a lot back and will be using them again soon!.

Off to the shower, then the salon! check ya all later!..

Good morning, darlings! I'm in a class, in the top row, and I just lost a chili nacho cheese puff to the floor. I would have retrieved it, but it rolled down to the level below and I can't reach it without leaving my row and going down to the next row. But don't think I wouldn't be eating it if I could reach it right now...

, sorry your lost your puff.

Enjoy your dinner/surprise tonight.

Great victories.

My company is running late, hopefully they'll be here in the next 15 minutes or so. Then we can have lunch!..

Good afternoon, TLers! Been up & at 'em for a while - caught up on yesterday's, but not today...maybe later. Big surprise 50th party at my house tonight for my BFF. Baked the cake with no BLTs.

Frosting will be more of a challenge, but I have a computer in the kitchen and I will leave it open to the TL thread for support. Gotta go tet the balloons & continue on....

Anxiously awaiting Penny's report.

Enjoy your Saturday!!..

<sigh> Dang it, I got sucked in on MFC. Not even about the program. <shaking head> That will teach me to leave the safety of the Clubhouse..

Busy morning. I will check back later...

Yup, that'll learn ya! I've been in the Clubhouse only for a couple weeks now, and I could not love ya'all more, or miss all that less, if I tried. *smootches!!!*..

I really do know better. It' just happens to be a subject that is touchy for me. Oh well. Let them bash..

Getting ready to take CC to a friend's B-day party at Pump It Up. Great place for kids. Nothing but those ginormous inflatable jumpy things for the kids to play on. My girl had her party there last year. Unfortunately, her SH will be there too. Thinking I may just drop them off and head over to Kohls and see if anything jumps out at me.

It's kind of a long drive and driving them out then going back to pick them up is kind of stewpid. Oh well...

Penny thanks for that info on the Orlando convention. I too am excited to hear about your suprize for your husband tonight. I was curious and just went thru all your pics on your page. You have a very nice family, there. That little girl of yours is adorable...

There is so much valuable infromation we share in this group! I love it!.

Survived Sam's Club. Then asked DH to drop me off at out little local library. I haven't been able to get to the library in, well I can't remeber. Yes, it was all exhausting, but I've learned to go with my impulses concerning exercise. I am so people hungry. So it's been a great day..

I read to my DH every Saturday while he does his strength training exercises. He walks at least 45 min on our treadmill, or around campus otherwise. So, I even had strength to read aloud!.

Amazing day!.

Hope you all have more romance than you can sanely handle..

Penny, I want to apologize for carrying on yesterday. I am alone and do get fixated on things that are none of my business. Just like MF, I'm putting myself on a busy-body diet. Drink a big glass of H20 and have DH drop me offf at the library..

Have a wonderful anniversay and dinner with your DH..

I'd like to hear the story of how you two met sometime. I do love romance..

Well, have a nice diet coke and relax.

Seriously, your response to all that stuff was, as usual, informed and sensible...

Just catching and enjoying the voices of reason around here. Sounds like some nice weekends going on out n TL-land!! I'm working today Ans looking forward to doing 4 massages back-to-back this afternoon! So peaceful...for them and me! Just had some of the new cinnamon pretzels and I was pleasantly surprised. Except for the tiny broken pieces they were just fine!.

Keep enjoying the day everyone!!..

Nan - look at your darned ticker, woman! TWO POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!..

Good Afternoon DW'ers!.

Congrats on all the good losses today. I was down 2.5 today as well! And that's after surviving dinner at a friend's house last night. Love those whoosh's when they come!.

Thanks, too, for the discussion about exercise and 4&2. I'm not even slightly tempted to go to 4&2. Just trying to get going with the exercise again, and I believe I'll be quite happy with 30 to 45 minutes for some time to come. Still, I love hearing the discussion and will remember it if the desire strikes me in the future..

Beth - so glad you had a good trip today. "People hungry" describes it so well!.

De - gotta think of MFC as SLUDGE. It never seems to improve your mood. If they can't treat you right, it is THEIR loss..

Freya - I followed a puff down to my car's filthy floorboard one day. Yep - I ate it. Sometimes I'm sure I'm two slices of bread short of a sandwich!.

Yiayia - good job on avoiding the BLT's.

Penny - hearts and flowers for your dinner tonight! Enjoy! Oh - did you get your new haircut?.

Tara - Woo Hoo on the rings!! Love those NSV's.

For anyone I missed - Have a Happy and WARM and OP day!.

Anna - How many more days?..

Good job! Who needs pride when there's a PUFF DOWN!.

I might still eat it if it's there when the room clears out. Just watch me...

Congrats to all the big losers today!!!! I love the whoooshes!!!..

You're killing me! And reminding me of the day my boss stole one of my puffs to "try". I wanted to cut her fingers off!..

Freya I'm just trying to keep up with you! Thanks for noticing, btw!..

Nan 2 lbs to go, how fabulous!!1.

Congrats to all the losers.

TKD< I think we have about 17/18 not sure exactly what day he'll be home...

Congrats, Nan!.

Freya, kiss it up to God..

De, I don't even wanna go over there to see..

Beth, no need to apologize! Really - this is a place where, IMHO, we should feel like we can say anything to one another. We're all friends and grownups! Hubby and I met online, actually. Match dot com. My mom had just passed away and I was truly "people hungry." Not romance-hungry at all; just wanted a grown up to talk to. Emma's vocabulary was pretty limited. He was recovering from having his shattered elbow surgically rebuilt.

But he was smart, well spoken (or well-typewritten), and cute. Something clicked and it was like we'd known each other forever. Love at first click. He left his very stable job (10+ years) in CT and moved here to NY with me and Emma in the house I'd inherited. And we're living happily ever after..

I'm back from the salon and properly coiffed for my big night! I'm headed upstairs in a minute to get ready and to get the little one into the shower for her own social evening out. She loves these Kids Night Out functions at the Y..

Oh, for luck (also nostalgia and security) I'm wearing my Mom's wedding ring with my own starting today...

It got our little resident nerd outta his man cave, tho..

Tee hee..

Nice to see a few voices of reason and facts show up..

De you were great!..

Penny praying for your evening..

Can't wait to hear the stories and details...

If there are TOO many details, you won't be hearing from me until tomorrow morning! LATE morning!!! LOL!..

Now you know what I was praying for. hmmmmmm!..

I'm glad to see everyone seems to have good Valentine's Day plans.

And good losses too. It is weigh in day for me and I'm just a wee bit...aggitated.4lbs.

....I know I should be happy for the loss and all that jazz but I was a good girl and didn't weigh myself all week and this is what the scale gives me...darn that smug number displayer! I have been completly OP and I don't know what's wrong...guess I'm gonna really kick up the Rick Lemons (don't want another picture fiasco). Arrg I wants a woosh...

HOORAY!!!!!! Here's hoping to not hear from you until tomorrow night! Give us long enough for this pack of freaks to start making handcuff cracks about *you* instead of *me* for a change, mkay?..

Hey guys I posted yesterday on the Outback thread saying that fillet mignon wasn't a lean meat because it has a much higher fat content. Then they said it was approved by Nutritional Support; however I looked up the calories/fat in the Victoria's fillet and it is MUCH higher than that of a sirloin..

Outback Special 6 oz.

Nutritional Facts*.

Calories 230.0 cal.

Carbohydrates 0.7 g.

Dietary Fiber 0.2 g.

Total Fat 7.8 g.

Saturated Fat 2.9 g.

Trans Fat 0.0 g.

Protein 36.9 g.

Cholesterol 79.0 mg.

Sodium 480.6 mg.

Compared to:.

Victoria's Filet 6 oz.

Nutritional Facts*.

Calories 518.2 cal.

Carbohydrates 0.7 g.

Dietary Fiber 0.2 g.

Total Fat 41.6 g.

Saturated Fat 19.4 g.

Trans Fat 0.0 g.

Protein 33.5 g.

Cholesterol 139.7 mg.

Sodium 550.6 mg.

Now am I wrong to think that we aren't allowed to have the fillet because of it's MUCH HIGHER fat content? Or am I just not seeing a bigger picture here?..

<Snicker> Now we can make them about BOTH of you!.

Nan - Thanks. I had me a great big ole Diet Pepsi for lunch!.

Finally home. What a day this has been. Got over to CC's apartment at 11:15 to find out that neither of them were even UP yet!! WTH?? Up side is SH stayed home. I went window shopping. I did buy some new sheets and a shirt for my kiddo for work. Picked up my girl from the party and headed to Sprouts.

I am out of the car for the rest of the day. I have CC for the night and we want to go to the zoo tomorrow, so I think I'll get a jump on my laundry today..

Beth - Love hearing that you have been out and about!!.

Waving to Chatty and everyone else!..

Oh you kids with your romantic valentines day plans. My husband and I are getting our taxes done...

There has to be something wrong here. Filet just doesn't have that kind of fat. There must be something, butter, something, added to it!! I would say that one would be a great big NO! The calories alone are over 1/2 your daily allowed!..

What De said about the filet! Its GOT to have something added to have that high of fat content. Or it's just 1 giant piece of lard......

It has to be b/c they cook it in butter, you can ask them not too a filet has almost no fat on it..

Nan, my dh is in Iraq so no fun for us either, although I found out he ordered me flowers, even though I told him not get me anything, but I'll love them..

Oh. My. God..

Steph, you and the pictures!!! It's genius!..

That bear was a gift from a dear friend. *cough*..

Anna it sounds like you have a very wonderful husband. I thank him for his service. My husband is retired Navy (he's also a retired LEO). I understand the worry and missing that goes with having a spouse in the service. Yours will be coming home to a hot, skinny wife, btw. You're doing great!..

That's what I thought! I couldn't believe the ammount of fat; however, when the sirloin is cooked in butter it has 19.6 grams of fat...not in the fourties....whats up with that?..

I made it through our last day of skiing. I did not get on skis like I wanted to. The Dh stayed. I also ate all day. CELERY! No Sludge!.

Love the teddy bear..

Hope every one has a great evening...

Nan, here is the link to the Orlando convention..

The first few days are for coaches; the last few are for ordinary folks, so I'm going the last few days..

Steph - I want that darn bear - without the cigarette though. CUTE!!!.

Nyckitty - so I'm dense but I still don't really know what tsfl is beyong the name of Take Shape for Life. I'm not a coach or a client. Do tell..

Mia - good job!! I know avoiding SLUDGE is just expected, but congrats for avoiding it!.

So I've had a couple of NSV's this week! Yesterday was the first time someone outside my typical day-to-day circle of work colleagues and friends told me I was "looking good!" I really love it when someone says I look good or I look healthy. I dont know why but I hate it when they ask if I'm losing weight. I also told someone I work with about Medifast because she has really been struggling, sounds serious about wanting to get a grip, and has all the same excuses I used to have, that Medifast takes care of (not much cooking, easy in a time crunch, etc.). She seems excited to get started and I'm happy for her!.

The other NSV was that I finally got into, and have worn all day, my size 22 jeans. My 22 pants are getting baggy, but the jeans are just now fitting. Jeans are very unforgiving, aren't they? These have no stretch whatsoever, but I don't need any!! I had 26's and these 22's but no 24's so it has been awhile since I've worn jeans. Feels good!.

Congrats on the losses ladies!.

Ding ding ding!! Penny that looks like a winner!..

Wow, da bear is betting Penny gets lucky TONITE.......

What's the general consensus on exercise? General guidelines, rather. I'm quite new to Medifast and I'm trying to find my footing. I enjoy exercising, but I don't want to have any setbacks to weightloss. I thought if I just did 20-30 min on the bike, starting off, and slowly, that I would be okay. Thoughts? I haven't even heard of the 4-2 yet. I definitely have a LOT to learn..

Freya11: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the quotes on the bottom of your posts..

My first weigh-in will be Wednesday. I'm nervous but excited!..

Ha ha - he's got a great smile, huh?.

The munchkin is equally as excited! She can't wait to fly on a jet and to swim with dolphins. She hugged me and said I was the best Mom ever. Then she said, "Oh my God, I'm gonna cry!" LOL!.

What a nice night. Watching Fight Club on cable... and posting to you guys..

Popping in to say hi TL'ers! Been a busy day at the lake..

YAY Penny!! Happy dancing going on in that picture..

Steph - that bear is excellent..

Great losses and some great NSV's. Had pork chops, cauliflower, asparagus and collards for dinner - tasty stuff..

50th this year and trying to get hubby to take me to Greece. He keeps avoiding the subject and I would so love it if he did like Penny and just booked the trip..........I can always dream..

No chopped tofu....

Whoa - looking at wedding pics on my computer and girlfriend had some serious backfat! Can't wait to have a whole new set of pictures!..

Love love love the grin on the DH Penny!! Woohoo!.

Spent the afternoon/evening in the hospital with my mother. Something about acid buildup, high white cell count and an inflamed pancreas. Managed to stay OP but boy did I want some comfort food. Trusting in MF, staying OP, and trying not to worry..

Night all, early morning in the hospital :/..

Oh Penny, his face says it all..

What fun!..

I know it is late, but waving back at DE...
