Quick question... Medifast Diet phase 1 dressing recipe? Thanks in advance for any comment. Another quick question... Other topics will be discussed that may not be appropriate for the easily offended..

Please discontinue reading Tough Love threads if they are going to cause you to become upset..

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++.

Medifast is a wonderful program with many different types of support and a fabulous community. We understand that everyone is an adult and this is not a "mean" group. For some of us, we thrive on this program if we have a place where we are held accountable, where we commit to the program 100% and where we have a place to chat with others who feel the same..

What we believe:.

1. Cheating on Medifast is NOT a strategy to get us out of our fat suits.

2. The only way for us to learn about our problems with food is to take the word "choice" out of the equation when it comes to Medifast. Our only "choice" is 5 packets and 1 weighed and measured lean and green a day.

3. We look to those who have been successful with this strategy to continuously remind us about why this way, for us, is the way to go.

4. We believe that, even though we are completely committed, knowing that we have a group that holds us accountable for our actions is both useful and important.

We commit to:.

1. Remove the word "choice" from our vocabularies.

2. Follow the Medifast plan as written, including transition and maintenance.

3. Tell our "inner brat" to shut the H-E-** up and quiet him or her through abstenance from off plan foods.

4. Give and receive tough love without complaining or calling each other "mean".

5. Cheerlead fellow group members as they follow the path to thinness.

6. Make Medifast the LAST diet we ever go on.

7. Check in with the group as often as our schedule reasonably allows.

8. Be honest with ourselves and our Medifast family and to stay 100% OP at all times. We also swear that WHEN (not if) we are having a tough time and feel like we may eat SLUDGE, to come to our Medifast family first and ask for support and help to get us through the struggle..

Getting the banner:.

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Morning all. Why do I think it's going to be another.

Kind of day?..

Morning Karen and MT.

Check out my ticker, I made it to the 100s today.

I hear you on the rain, I live in NC and man is it rainy, plus Thursday it appears it might snow again, unreal...

Woot, congratulations, Anna! Doing the happy dance for you... until I get a cup of coffee in my hand that is...

Great job Anna!!.

MT - that's definitely how I'd like to spend my werk day...

Hi tl'ers.

Rainy day here in NY too... Maybe it will wash some snow away.. Can't wait for spring!!!.

Anna love seeing the ticker showing you in Onderland!!!.

Got to drive son to school then going on elliptical.

Great day all.

Cindy..

Morning, All..

Anna.

- WTG!!! Into the next century!! WOO HOO!!.

MT.

- love your little graphic...my days are rarely like that, but wish I did have more time for a snooze or at least to pop in here more often..

Hi to everyone that's popped in while I type...and while I'm in the shower...and finishing my coffee.....

Remind me I have a salt/sodium story, too. I'll try not to be so epic....

Later!..

Nice job, Anna!.

Thanks for starting us up, Karen..

We woke up to snow. More.Wet.Snow. Lots of 2-hour delays for area schools, but not ours..

My day started off on a hectic, chaotic note, but I'm doing my best to let it go. I got my little one a new pair of nice, warm gloves and she wore them to school yesterday. Even though it wasn't particularly cold. This morning I went looking for them, and they were nowhere. I read her the riot act about responsibility and having nice things. You know the lecture.

Where she said they were. I felt like a big fat jerk. I'll bet she'll REALLY take care of those gloves today..

Hoping for a super day for everyone! See you at the office!..

Good morning everyone!.

We are celebrating a new set of numbers for Anna! Woo hoo!.

Raw day here, although it looks like we might see a little of the bright thing we haven't seen much of this winter..

Off to dental h**l again. I just really want this to be done. Of course it has to be during my busiest three weeks of the year. But I will fight on!.

Have a great day everyone...

HOOORAYYYYYYYYYYY Anna!!! Do you feel like Alice? Did you catch the bunny?? LOL VERY VERY cool!!!.

Barb - good luck at the dentist. Hope you get happy gas!.

Everyone else - good morning and happy OP day! I've got a big day so am going to get right to it!.

Tracey..

Last night, I was at the supermarket and I had an overwhelming urge for some not-to-be-named sludge. Those who know me know my weakness. It was terrible. I went to the aisle, looked at all the labels of the various brands, and even went so far as to consider a tiny squeezy pack of a flavored (heavily sweetened) variety. I couldn't get online to get strength from you all, either, since my signal was low on my cell. I decided I was going to just tough it out.

At some point, about twenty minutes into my little hell, I felt it lift from my shoulders and fade away. I knew I'd beaten it. I took a deep breath and finished my grocery shopping...

Good morning, TLers! Another fly by, although today won't be quite so frantic as yesterday. Then off to two days of training, so may not be here much the rest of the week..

No chopped tofu......

This is most of my day today, and every w*rk day:.

But when I'm not in a meeting I'm..

Penny that sounds like the story of my life... My 14 year old uses something and then just puts it down and forgets about it... Drives me insane... you would think he would get tired of me yelling about putting things back... but I'm sure he just tunes me out....

Cindy..

Anna - hooray! Welcome to ONderland!.

Penny - good job at toughing it out!.

Will check back in later, need to shower, shovel and get to work...

Good morning (at least I think it is - still very dark here). I will be glad when I drive in to work and there's actually sun coming up..

MT - I don't have a lot of meetings, but that little desk guy is ME!.

Anna - WOOT WOOT!!!! So proud of you!!.

Penny - Proud of you too! Way to throw that demon down!.

Morning to Sugar, Cindy Barb, Tracey, Steph Karen, Jan and Alucas. Don't think I missed anyone, but things are still a little unfocused..

Off to shuffle some papers around on my desk...

Penny, please don't put yourself through that again. If that urge strikes, start dancing - right away wherever you are- maybe that will help..

Anna: Hooray! The dancing conga line of support is passing through Indiana right now! We lived in snowy Grand Rapids MI most of our lives. The truly great thing about snow from Oct-May was the delight the children took in it. I am also down .8 lbs this AM.

Rayers/ recycling at it's best! Everything offered up for Anna, Rachael, and all for our military families. I love recycling..

I woke up this morning and felt sore muscles. Not unusual for me to be sore for now reason at all. But this AM my body was sore from all the house work I've been doing. Going from absolute zero (getting a show and changing my nightgown) to actually doing some works doesn't just feel good mentally and emotionally, but I've got working muscles! Hooray! While lying in bed reveling in my soreness, I planned the yoga moves I'll do right now..

Have a great day. Hope that your dental visit goes well, Barb..

OMG I was able to remember Barb's message from earlier!.

This will be a short and very sweet Thank You, GOD yoga session starting now..

Enjoy your days fully, TLers..

Beth..

Barb - Work those muscles baby!! I'm just so proud of everybody this morning!!!.

I'm pretty sore myself today, but it's a GOOD sore!..

Happy Tuesday TLers.

First of all: Congrats Anna! That is so awesome! You are doing great!.

Penney: Good job on resisiting the temptation. That's a tough one, but you came through. Did you feel totally in control afterwards?.

MT & De: I'm the desk person too. That is totally my day. Pretty exciting stuff..

Beth: Yay for sore muscles; the good ones..

I'm needing some coffee and then to get ready for work..

Happy faces everyone!!..

Morning TL-.

Way to go Anna-What a great feeling.......Yea Penny resisted temptation......

I am at work, off to write a Tough Love message to my 21 year old who I am sure will not speak to me for a month after I do............

Thanks De-this is the single hardest part of being a parent I have faced yet.....I have to step back and watch him fall and I really cannot catch him this time......I have been such an enabler so I know everything is going to be my fault....I can just sit here all day in tears over him.......

Okay, somebody slap me. While walking on my treadmill for 2 mins (?only 6 calories burned?) I was picking out china patterns for Freya!.

I am back in bed with a headache and exhausted, but have I load of laundry already "running" I wonder if that counts too? No., I didn't think so..

Enjoying this day..

Frigid outside (5 degrees) but beautifully sunny..

Beth..

Beth, your post warms my heart!.

Barb, sending no-pain vibes to you, and steady-hand vibes to your dentist!.

Anna, huge congratulations, you're rockin' it!!.

Penny, next time at the supermarket, you should take off one piece of clothing until the urge passes, sort-of like "strip shopping"!! Fun for you AND your fellow shoppers!! But, really, congratulations on working through it!.

I'm taking a break from daily weighing this week. Really, there's no point, I'm OP so I'll just wait until Sunday. Still doing my massive-morning-water routine..

When I went to work yesterday I only had 1 appt. on the books, but it turned into a great day! Hoping for the same today! See everyone later!! xo..

Morning TL'ers.

Way to go ANNA!!!!.

Penny-All three of my kids borrow my items so I never know who was the last to it. Great job of leaving the Sludge at the market..

Barb-good luck with the dentist..

Beth-Hope your sore muscle relax and you enjoy the yoga dvd's..

Lynne-hugs! tough love with the kids is not easy..

Okay, I have limited time on the computer this am. I finished my coffee and I'm headed out again to the gym this am. Lots of errands to run and do for the next two days. Not all are mine..

Stay dry and warm out there!..

Don't overdue it Beth-you are doing great, you should be so proud of yourself.......

Thanks Mia-I can do this and I will do this, like everything else, one day at a time...

Beth - For you, EVERYTHING counts!.

Lynne - I have one that's been lost for years. Like you, we had to let him fall. Unfortunately for him, us and his daughter, he's never seemed to be able to pick himself back up. Doesn't matter what you may or may not have done, it's ALWAYS our fault! When he was younger, I used to feel a great deal of guilt. It took a good friend to sit me down and snap me out of it. I had to realize that I raised him to know the difference between right and wrong, to be a good person and to have good values.

He's 30 now and still lost. I simply could not continue carrying the guilt over his choices. Now, sadly, I'm just angry because the one that is really going to be hurt in this in my baby girl. Unfortunately, her mother isn't much better than her father. <shaking head>.

Just remember that YOU are not responsible for the choices that your kids make. THEY are. We are responsible for raising them to know how to make the right decisions. It's up to THEM to actually do that...

Yay Beth for the sore muscles! Take it easy today and let your body heal. Yoga moves sound perfect!..

Great job walking away Penny!.

I'm sitting here waking up with my coffee and trying to plan my day out. So much to do before I leave for Maui tomorrow!!..

Lynne and De.

My ds1 is only 16. We have been in and out of therapy a few times. The therapist we have right now seems to be working. I just wish each visit didn't make me feel like a tattle taler. I have to have the entire day off from work so I don't explode on some innocent person after the visit..

Hugs!..

In my head I know this, but, it hurts my heart. I have apologized to him for what he perceives as shortcomings in our parenting. I won't be doing that anymore because he sees that as weakness and he manipulates that..

Yes, lost is a very good way to describe him. He keeps making poor choices and he is facing the consequences. I try and live my life every day with no regret and I know that how he chooses to live his right now is his choice. I keep hoping he will meet a bright, wonderful caring girl that he decides is worth turning his life around for. With the folks he hangs out with he will likely attract someone as broken as he is..

Mia.

-I hope that some counseling can do wonders for your son, it did not for ours, he gaslighted the IC and fed her alot of KOOLAID.....He can't tell the truth about anything...

Should I do it? Be totally spontaneous?????? We just had a wonderful week in jamaica in early December. This is suposed to be the year of getting fiscally sound. We finished our taxes and are actually getting money back because of the college tuition credit....So should I be totally responsible and put the money into the house (that we are selling in May) or take a little and plan a long weekend?.

Tell me to be responsible, that is what I should be doing............

And if you are going to tell me to throw caution to the wind, suggestions please.

Off to meet DD at the gym, I will be looking for answers when I get back.......LOL..

Thanks all of you!!! Too many of you posted while I was at the dentist.. but an NSV there I got to get my blood pressure taken with the actual arm cuff, not the thigh cuff!.

BEth it's awesome that you are getting up and moving!!!.

Lynne, we love to travel, so as much as I should suggest being financially sound I'd find a weekend getaway. We like to rent cabins/homes at vrbo.com.

I don't remember where you live but find someplace closeby but fun!..

Lynne- save it for the new house. you may find that you don't need it later and then take a long weekend...

Sassy - Are you getting excited? I hope you have fun. I have friends who just got back from Hawaii last week. They said the weather was perfect and they had a great time!.

Beth - I really am so happy for you. It must be such a great feeling for you to get up and move around..

Lynne - I am so sorry for what you are going through with your son. I have a 23 year old son. I love him more than anything. I don't know what I would do if I had to write a letter like you. I understand how it would break your heart. But I also understand why you have to do it.

And then, let's see... responsible or fun? Well, I vote for fun and spontaneous. We are getting money back too. Part is going to savings and part to Disneyland for my younger son's birthday and Maui for us. But, let's see, where should you go? Where do you live? I need to check that first... Looks like New York.

I am of no help here. I am in So Cal. Opposite ends of the US. I hope people give you some good ideas..

As De said, it's paper shuffling time. Better get at it...

Cheri, yes, I felt totally in control. I had 6 oz. pre-measured chicken on a plain salad with apple cider vinegar and sesame oil (1 tsp) for dinner and it was heavenly! I physically felt the temptation leave my body as I rounded a corner (I was in WalMart Supercenter) and saw some pretty bras... Thinking about buying some pretty jammies to sit on my balcony in, having coffee in the morning with my hubby on our anniversary cruise!.

Thanks for all the well wishes! I think breaking into a dance in the middle of Walmart or even strip-shopping, which sounds more fun than dancing, would go over about as well as Connors Target farting!.

Hope, safe travels to you!.

Lynne, I think responsibility includes scheduling some down time, within reason!.

Off to a boring meeting...

Anna, I'm so proud of you! Way to go!!!.

Good morning to everyone else!.

DBP from me (drive by post)..

Wow. Lots of stuff..

Anna - congrats into Onederland. You inspire me!!!.

Penny - I love the suggestion of strip-shopping. You should do that even if you don't have any urge for sludge and then report back to us..

Beth - Glad you are moving around and feeling the sunshine. That's awesome-blossom!.

Lynne - Save the $$ and put it into the house. You won't regret it (in the long run!).

I know I missed lots of other stuff, but I'm running on low today since this is my second day at home due to my sick child. Gah...

Morning (or afternoon for some of you!).

Congrats Anna! Way to go..

Beth- every movement is a win, you go lady!.

Don't ask me about $$, cause I'm all about vacations and weekend get aways..

Penny, thank you for being an inspiration. I'm gonna try the strip option when I am being tempted. In fact at sushi tonight, I'll be stripping down if I'm tempted to get something besides sashimi!.

Lynee- Good thoughts and prayers for you..

Happy day to all...

Also.....

I went to the lab today so the doctor could run my numbers now, and then again in 6 months to see how much healthier I will be..

I couldn't pee! I go every 30 mins here at work because of all the water. When I'm at home it's about every hour. The lab? Nothing. Nada. I was sitting there in total disbelief..

Just thought I'd overshare...

Like when the baby runs a fever and crys all night, you rush them to the doc and they are smiles and cool as a cucumber............

The body is a mystery.

Thanks for all the input guys, I think I will have Hubs take what he feels we "need" to do a couple things that have to be done before putting the house on the market then I will put away what I need for the inspector to come and then IF I have anything left I will book a couple nights near Cuyahoga national park in Ohio......We have been wanting to start exploring more of them as part of our take active vacations......

Anna-We have used VRBO in the past, kind of forgot about it, thanks for the reminder.

Sunny-We have 3 children and two of three really are just delightful. Our oldest is a puzzle. Same home, same parents, same rules and..

Anna's in Onederland - OMG squeeeeee!!!!!!.

Penny: I'm pretty sure you're not a big fat jerk anymore. You can be a skinny b11tch instead. Huge congrats for winning the battle with the beast last night..

Barb: dental hell is NOT a good way to spend a day. So sorry..

Beth: I'm so happy you're sore for such a wonderful reason! China patterns? Really? You're so damn cute!!!!.

Lynne: doing the right thing is hard and sucks. A lot. {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}.

Sassy: Have an epic amazing wonderful time in Hawaii!! Enjoy the beach hotties!.

Connor: hope the sick baby feels better soonest....

Steph: uh, really? Could not pee? I don't believe it. At all. Simply not possible..

No chopped tofu!..

For me, I'm back down to 139. I always bounce back up a pound or two after reaching a new number, but I went to 140-141 for like 12 days straight, which was starting to make me think I'd hallucinated the 139. But, thanks to Smooth Move tea, yesterday was "productive" as hell and today I'm able to see the 130's again. Yay! (Just joining Steph in AZ in oversharing.) Now, onward and downward to goal!.

My Valentine's Day shopping is done. I'm all giggly-bouncy waiting for the 14th now. We don't even have official plans for that night and he probably has his kids and I won't be able to see him anyway. But whatever, I'm prepared..

If "Valentine's Day Observed" is the 16th that's cool. I won't asplode or anything. No, really, I won't. Honest...

Yea- Isn't seeing 13_ the best.......Those are my two most favorite numbers even if it is 139.9........

Oh I didn't realize Morty haz kidses......Do they know of you? VD is just an observance on the calendar, you can celebrate any day that works for you..

I got a great card for H from tinyprints.com It was free with a code someone gave on their blog...It is possible the greatest card I have ever seen...He will be super weepy when he reads it..

That is when I know I done good...

Oh, so awesome!!! I can't wait to hear about weepy hubby - that's fantastic..

They're super young - both under 3. They don't know about me yet. No rush - we've got plenty of "adult time" to work through on our own first...

As a friend and relative of people that have flavor of the month stay over with their kids I am so happy to see that............

Makes you wonder, doesn't it? My boys are night and day. Oldest is the kid from he;; and the youngest (12 years between my boys) the the polar opposite! The only negative thing I have to say about my kiddo is that he doesn't apply himself in school as much as he could. Other than that, he's a sweet natured (albeit a bit opinionated - NO idea where that comes from.

) good hearted kid. He's also my "mini-me". Looks just like me. Thinks just like me. Makes the same expressions and eye rolls I do. Drives the hubs NUTS!!..

But there were other people I didn't get to! *wail* I just never seem to wave at everyone!..

LOL @ (and with) Freya!.

I live TinyPrints! My sister turned me on to them..

I have to share what I'm doing for my hubby for Valentine's Day. We're going out to our nice, "date night" Valentine's Day dinner this Saturday when the munchkin has her social night at the YMCA..

I took one of our wedding portraits and Photoshopped it with our wedding vows (we wrote our own) in black and white, feathers and Gaussian Blur. I am framing this and giving it to him over dinner. Then I'm going to tell him that I have our little "cue cards" that we used when we got married in safe keeping so we can use them again on our anniversary cruise in September. And that's how I'm breaking the news about the cruise to him...

Fabulous!!!!!!!!!! I see one more weepy hubby on the horizon.........

Penny, I'm so excited for you!!!!! That sounds fantastic!..

Penny, that's fabulous!!.

Where are you cruising to? SOrry if you told us and I missed it..

I would love to do that for my dh, but he is so super picky I would be terrified of picking the wrong destination, etc..

You are giving me hope...

Penny, sounds awesome!! Your hubby will be blubbering putty in your hands!!.

Freya, do your v-day surprises include lingerie, toys or both? *evil laugh*..

Penny - WTG at the store!! I have an Medifast friend that I text when I'm feeling tempted. Yesterday I forgot my phone and I went to a trigger store (they have free sludge at the entrance.

)...I just chanted to myself 'I don't want SLUDGE, I don't want SLUDGE' as I marched around the outside of the store. Texting helps, but like everything else, I have to do it. This has been a rule since before Xmas and my SLUDGE overload...I just chose not to text and indulge in SLUDGE back then..

Today.

, I choose 100%.

P.S. Your mustard sounds divine, I'm going to try it!.

I think it was Steph (corbie) or maybe Chatty or Chris (leonnie1) last week posted about commitment versus interest. I tried finding that post - I thought it was on Wednesday when we had our 'come to Jesus' thread, but didn't find it. Anyone remember it? Point me in the right direction? I need to print it out!!..

Penney - that is such a great idea. How exciting..

Yes, Freya - Can you tell us your valentines day surprise?..

I will be so happy to see a 3 as the second number. That will be the first time in a looooooooong time..

Some of the boys in my biggest loser contest that sit way far from me are magically appearing in my area today. Me thinks they want to see what I look like because they don't believe I really lost 10%. Duh! 3 other girls saw me weigh and the boys know I couldn't have cheated. Suckas! You can't lie about losing 10%. Just.Not.Possible...

Chickie, we're sailing from Tampa to Cozumel, Belize, Isla Roatan, and Grand Cayman. Our actual anniversary is the final night of the cruise, which is usually the formal Captain's Dinner night...

So much fun Penny! I cannot wait to hear about your husband's reaction when you tell him what you did!..

Another P.S. to Penny who snuck in while I was being too wordy...I was wondering if you had told him yet...love your idea. I'm coming to you when I need romantic surprises for DH..

Jan, that was me. I posted that interest vs. commitment thing. It was towards the end of the week.... I don't remember which day...

Wow. So many sweet gestures. This was my exchange with my husband:.

Mike: "You want anything for Valentine's Day? When is it again?".

Me: "No. You? I think it's like, on Saturday or something.".

Mike: "Don't need anything. Maybe a blowjob.".

Me: "It's not our anniversary, it's just Valentine's Day.".

Perhaps we need to visit tinyprints??..

Oh, and Emma doesn't know yet. I'm not sure when I'll tell her. She'll be the most excited about flying. She's flown, but doesn't remember...

Bwahahahahahaha! You are going to get me in trouble at work for my boisterous laughing!..

And, just like that - POOF! - we were gone!.

No, Connor - Steak and a BJ Day is 2 weeks after Valentine's Day!..

I've had entirely too much fun today. I'm off to shop for a pretty picture frame that hubby will like. See y'all at home!..

Okay-serious question:.

Exactly what does sits below the natural waist mean?.

Until recently I have had to wear mom jeans.

You all know the ones I mean.....So when I buy jeans in my new lower sizes *grin* they all say sit below the natural waist. So does that mean the waist sits on my hip bones? I am constantly hiking them up trying to get them to my belly button......

Okay, I will tell you on one condition:.

MORTY IF YOU HAVE INTERNET-STALKED ME HERE YOU MUST STOP READING NOW. RIGHT NOW. I MEAN IT OR I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU. EVER..

(He's really good with the internets. I wouldn't put it past him.).

So, I have 2 gifts. For the zombie-movie-loving, mortician side of him I got a 2.5 pound anatomically correct gummy heart with raspberry-flavored fake blood. I ordered that a couple weeks ago when things were still just pretty silly between us..

The grown-up mature adult part of me got a sport shirt. A really nice one. He's kind of a fashionista and I'm really fingers-crossed hoping he'll like it...

Seriously, it is never good to read Conner's posts while at work. Girlie, you crack me up!..

What??? No, it's VDay, I'm sure! That's what my friends and I call it!..

Nope-has a day dedicated all to itself....Actually Penny we get a whole month in between.

Oh, and Morty calls it "Meat and Beej" Day...

OMG Lynne! Thank you so much for that link - that's hilarious!!!..

Wow, some serious romantics! Penny that's a fantastically lovely gift & presentation..

Well eat your heart out ladies. I'll be with a married man (my best friend's husband) at a hockey game full of young, virile men. And in the stands will be desparate, beer drinking mens..

Who's jealous now????..

Um. Not me. Thanks hehe. You're going to be in a stadium full of young virile men who can't take their eyes off the violence and blood happening on the ice. Not my idea of high jinx...

Hey I'll actually be with my dh two weeks after V Day but not a month after.

..

You all have made my afternoon once again...

Good afternoon all! I am officially having the week from H*LL. Not going to bore anyone with details, but if God only gives you as much as you can handle I think he found my limit..

On a good note, I've been 100% OP regardless. The urge to drink a bottle, er glass, of wine tonight after work if strong but I know I will ignore it. Since Medifast the urges to stress eat have really declined, thank God..

Congrats Anna! Go buy some new clothes as a reward!.

Hi to everyone else, I only had 5 minutes left on my lunch and didn't have time to read past the 1st 4 pages!.

Wow, I'm just catching up from the last few days and I have to say....I'm learning, um, things here <snicker>.

I guess when I get home for the mid-your in April we're just going to have to combine all of the Holiday's into one big day... me thinks this is going to call for a baby-sitter and a hotel room.

In the chopped tofu rhelm;.

Anna ~ AWESOME!! I knew it was right around the corner!!.

Penny~ Good job walking away...and not giving in.

Freya~ hehehehehe...I love the gummy heart....

Regarding everyone on the misbehaving kids part~ that scares me a bit...I swear that I have looked at my 20 month old after "certain things" (like when he was kicked out of the Nursery at church for head-butting the other little kids and than said, "Mean! Mean!" and laughed at them) and just knew I was going to have to bail him out of jail someday....

Beth, Yay for "healthy" soreness!.

And Hi to everyone else!!.

OH, and just for the record...you know you're on Medifast, "when you have acid indigestion and you actually weigh the pain of it versus the carb and sugar content of a TUMS...".

Hope you are all doing well.

~Rachael..

Hello people-I had a serious question about jeans........Back before the BJ talk started.....Help a girl out...

I kinda thought it was on THE da, but I'll look on Thurs & Friday cuz sure can't find it on Wed...

Lynne,.

Hehe....I think we forgot....

But yes, when it says "sits below the natural waist" it usually means about 2 inches below the belly button...not necessarily "hiphuggers" but certainly not up to the belly button....

Depending on the make depends on how low they sit...

Lynne, as far as I know it just means they're cut lower at the waist. So if you're wearing a thong it'll probably show in the back. And if you like jeans up at your belly button like a grown-up, then you should buy "at the waist" instead...

Lynne, My belly button is no longer where it should be, but my natural waist is only about 2 inches below my boobs, I wear most of my jeans about 2 inches lower than that. I do not wear low rise jeans...

And just what in the world is tinyprints?.

Lynne - your question about jeans... I think when they say it sits naturally below the waist line, it means that it is above your hips, but below your waist. Kind of in between. That is what most of my jeans are. I have gotten away from the mom jeans, but am not young enough for low rise... lol.....

Tinyprints is a website that allows you to customize cards and use photos on it (tiny prints) they are usually little teeny pics all over your card. Pretty cheap for what you are ordering IMO........

Okay so the opinion is women of a certain age should not wear low rise jeans-Safe.

Sits below the waist (if our waist is still where is should be) is two inches below belly button and above the hips-Safe.

So I went in the bathroom and played around again....The crotch is in the right spot, I tightened my belt so I don't feel them slipping and am trying to get comfortable not hiking them up..

Freya-I agree grown ups should wear certain styles, however, once you are down in sizes they are really really hard to find...

Oh no, that's not what I meant at all! I shop in the junior's section myself, and I'm 41 and "should" behave better!.

Wear what you want. Grown-ups are boring...

So my reply to the message to my son-which I wanted to do in person, but, that would NOT go well as I would not be allowed to get a word in edgewise. So I sent a message on Facebook since he had to leave our home 3 weeks ago due to disrespect and not wanting to meet the conditions to live there (have a job, go to counseling (to try and have an aim in life) and be clean. He doesn't want to do any of the above. He actually said no disrespect but I will figure my own **** out. I had told him in my message that when his summer job starts I will not provide transportation this year, it takes me 30 miles out of my way to work every morning and night. So he worked April - September and then lived off of us until 3 weeks ago.

Phew-Thanks for the hugs this morning, I really needed the strength to let him sink or swim..

I shop in Juniors too....*laugh* I love that I can.....Jeans are just really hard for me, I have a bigger bottom and no matter how small I buy them the waist just gaps horribly..

Ya know this jeans talk got me thinking...I don't own a single pair of pants that fits...I'm gonna head home and have literally nothing to wear!! I don't even know what size I am! What a strange side-effect of doing medifast while wearing the same 2 outfits (granted 6 pairs of the same 2 outfits) 24/7 for a year...huh...that just kinda blows me away.....
