Quick question... Medifast recipes for green olives to use as a starter? Looking forward for any comment. Another question I got... I had an awesome weekend and figured I would share it with you all..

Saturday took my son to the pumpkin patch. They have these carnival rides that I have been afraid to get on b/c amusement park rides were not necessarily my friend and frankly it was quite embarrassing. My son begged me to go on this ride with him so I stood in line, very hesistant of course, but did it just for him and finally our turn was up. I got on this ride and I fit. My son held my hand out of there so proud and even had me go with him on other rides..

Afterwards I went to go visit my parents. I told my mom I needed to buy a coat b/c it has been getting very cold in wonderful Chicago and the coat I had last year, looks more like a circus tent....lol There is no way I am putting that bad boy on. I have enough room in that coat to fit an entire army....lol It is not flattering and it looks hideous. My mom had bought a coat that she never wore last year. My mom is quite the shopaholic- -she's the real Carrie Bradshaw from Sex & the City. She told me to try this coat on.

I have never been able to fit in my mother's clothes and keep in mind she's a plus size herself. The coat was a size 18P. Yes 18 is still big but it beats the hell out of wearing a 26W and last year's coat was a 4x..

Lastly I took my son to go trick or treating yesterday. My knee would always give out. I don't know how many blocks we walked but all I can tell you is that I walked for 3.5 hours. Last year I would pick at my son's candy bag and this year I packed a protein snack (my version of a Reese's cup minus the chocolate- -(2) graham crackers w/ peanut butter) and brought water instead of juice and other junk. I was.

Running.

W/ my son and nieces and nephew. It was a blast. They honestly made me feel like a kid again and I can honestly say for the first time in a very long time I am so proud of myself. I just completed my degree in business and being the only female in my family to graduate from college is a small price compared to gaining my life back..

Thanks for.

And for your support..

That was a terrific weekend packed with wow moments. My kids are grown and I live in the country so I don't get to see trick or treaters so hearing about them is fun..

Congrats on the coat, I keep telling my daughter that when I lose the weight I am going shopping in her closet (medium tops and size 7 pants)she is a shopaholic too and I could get some of her clothes and say I bought them and she wouldn't know the difference. She has started buying clothes and saying "mama you will be able to wear this soon".Kids, don't you just love them?.

Congrats also on getting your degree. What a great weekend!!!.
