Over $10K..

Looking at paring down my holdings - out of the 1300 or so names I have, about half of them are of little value ... but as old saying in the advertising business goes "I know half my advertising is wasted, I just don't know which half." ... that's the same question I face with many of my domains so I just keep accumilating more..

Haven't come up to renewals yet for me, so we'll see when the time comes..

I think this one would help a bit, and answer one question:.

Smith: How many domains do you have..

Btw: I pay nearly $1200 to $1500 / year...

I'll spend maybe close to $1,000 in renewal costs this year...

Very near $600. Not even close to what some of you guys are spending!..

Bout 10k a year.. renewals nowadays are so more 123 reg 3-4usd loopholes..sad.....

I almost don't wanna say how much I spend on renewals because other posters' amounts crush

I spend about $200/year...

So that's why registrars are making so much more money than domainers. Its the renewal fees that put a hole in everyone's pockets. I'm impress of how much money people are actually paying. I hope I will never have to spend that much every year...

You must have been at it for years to end up with 20,000 domains.

Scary renewal bill but not if it's earning more than that each year..

Half of my names are regged for more than 2 years, I am hoping more traffic.

And better indexed because of multi-year reg..

Somewhere around 6 years fulltime, and it's not a scary renewal bill..

LOL It's just like the gold rush analogy... the real gold didn't go to those digging but those who sold the equipment and materials...

About $25k right now, trying to trim that down a bit by selling off a few...

Started around 2 months ago and by the way i;m buying, looks like it's gonna be $1400 renewal next year..

I've started selling for profit now, so I reckon I mite just bring up my portfolio at a faster rate. Things could go differently depening on wuantity / quality factor and whether I sell or develop...

You must have a fair few cracking names then..
