Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
I, too, am seeing this, and have noticed that the selection is listed as NULL in the SQL setups, and I have no idea how to make it NOT Null. I cannot find any references to it that show it as NOT required??.
I still have found no solution to this issue or a trail from where it is caused to leave out this data in the DB. Could someone PLEASE help me here? THis issue is on a live iPage site taking orders already. ;(..
OKay here is somthing interesting. IT SEEMS OSC isnt using a REAL state field at all..
Its using the entry_zone_id field in the address book..
Not one of the users have an entry state in that field but if the entry_zone_id is filled in then it works...
OK please shoot me.. As I'm looking through the customer database in the OSC admin I find some people with States but there is no ZONE ID OR A STATE ENTRY!!?? How in the F&^K can that be? where ELSE can it be showing up??!!.
Ofcourse it still seems that if the Zone Id isnt in the address book the orders show no state...
This is from my database in the Addy table.
The first column, of course, is Field, Deleted some, then Null, and Default.
Entry_state Yes NULL.
Entry_country_id No 0.
Entry_zone_id No 0.
Now, if the STATE is Null, and the zone isnt, yet the zone doesnt auto-fill, WHERE does it get the info from?.

I cant quite figure it out But it seems every person that signs up, their state isnt showing up in the orders they make..
When I check the address book in the database it is missing..
When I check the customers info it's missing as well..
WHERE can I go to check out why this is happening? Im not sure the page or the code to take a look at and test..
I notice that if I add the state in the customers page in the admin it STILL doesnt show up in the address book in the database. WHICH I believe is what is used when making orders..
Argh this is frustrating..
ANY help would be appreciated...
