I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..
How do you make a html redirect like that?..
Create a new file with the following content:.
<!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en">.
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">.
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="1; URL=http://www.youraddress.xx/catalog/">.
Save it as index.html and save/upload it in the root directory..
One the page called, she will redirect after one second to your catalog directory...
I think I got it working now.... But is it possible t write anything else than Connecting?.
I allready tried, but it still says connecting.....
You could put whatever you want in between those <body> tags..
However, unless you plan on building a iPage website at www.yourdomain.com that's separate from your store, I would recommend just moving the necessary files to the root instead of the catalog directory. Search engines like that better...
