Good question... I dunno what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
Bloodshoteyes, i've already done that..

For Ontario PST Zone.

- Zone: Ontario.
And for HST Tax Zone.
- Country: Canada; Zone: Nova Scotia.
- Country: Canada; Zone: New Brunswick.
- Country: Canada; Zone: Newfoundland.
I've also added the classes and rates. Then I added the class to the product..
Any other ideas?..
The last page doesn't even have a part where it says.
Or PST =.
Could it be my tax module?..
By George I think he's got it....
GST & PST are not Tax Zones they are Tax Rate Description......
State/Province is a Tax Zone - i.e. Alberta( don't forget to open the folder icon at the left of the Alberta Tax Zone, and complete all steps.
Gst Tax Rate - Tax Zone = Alberta - Priority 1.
PST Tax Rate - Tax Zone = Alberta - Priority 2..
Ok I got the taxes to finally show up. The problem was that when I did the osCommerce installation, I let the default options remain. One of those was to not ask customer state during registration..
So once I enabled that the taxes are showing up correctly. Now, my problem is that the taxes are not being added to the subtotal..
1 x Under Siege 2 - Dark Territory (DVD-UNSG2) = $34.49.
Flat Rate (Best Way): $5.75.
Tax 8.0% + pst 7%: $5.25.
The only thing being added to the total is shipping..
Right after I posted this I realized the taxes had already been added, just being displayed after the subtotal, so that confused me....
Everything in taxes is working fine now..
I am trying to setup my cart for Canadian customers. I have managed to get everything working except the taxes. When someone is browsing the catalog and is not logged in, the taxes are showing correctly. However, when they log into their account, the taxes no longer apply and don't even show up in the order confirmation checkout page..
This is how it shows up.
I have tried many methods to fix this, but nothing is working. I followed.
Canada Tax Zones Setup notes.
And I even did it 3 or 4 times so I know i'm doing everything correctly..
As you can see, the sample output tax part in the notes of Canada Tax Zones Setup contribution.
Is not showing up in my setup and I don't understand why.
It seems to me the cart is not detecting the zone the person is in. I tried the tax setup without any contributions and even installed osCommerce from scratch 2 or 3 times, but it still doesn't work..
Another strange thing is that when I check Tools -> Whos Online from the admin section, I can see that order as.
Which is how it SHOULD appear to the customer, but it only shows that way in admin..
Thanks for help..
When you set up each of the tax_zones did you open the folder at the far left of each of your tax_zones? if not you need to and enter the appropriate data...
