Quick question: Nutrisystem, Nutrisystem, Weigh Watchers? Hoping for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. I am in the middle of week one (until tomorrow at least) and ran into my first slip up today. What strategies do you use if you're ever in this type of situation to minimize the damage to your eating plan? The building I work in has a cafeteria, but they are very heavy on the grease..

Normally get up at 6:30am to eat breakfast and set aside my meals for the day. Instead woke up at 7:33 and I was supposed to leave at 7:30. I take a quick shower and rush out the door at 7:40 and get to work 5 minutes late. Now I have my Nutrisystem foods, but not much else to eat for the day...

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

I have ordered a few of the "bars" (both breakfast, lunch and snack) to address this issue..

I leave them in my office and replace them as necessary..

BTW...If I forget my yogurt and fruit, I just have a snack bar..

I actually went to walmart and purchased a clear tote. I put all my food and my diary in there for the week and carry it with me..

Over the course of the week I'm in 3 different cities. Always having this with me makes it easy for me not to think about it..

The guys at work gave me a hard time on day 1 for carrying the food, but more along the lines of "are you going to eat this all day?".

Since I'm doing NS-Flex (NS Foods 5 days, regular foods weekends), I always pack my lunch box on Friday so it's ready Monday morning..

As a matter of fact, I not only pack my food, but fill out the diary as well..

I always pack little bags of baby carrots with me and you can find a salad just about anywhere. A little planning can go a long way. Sometimes I'll prepare the sides in advance and pack meals in a cooler. Really though the biggest key is when you slip up, you get right back on the plan as soon as possible...

This is why I always pack my food the night before and put it in the fridge. I usually boil some eggs on Sunday. If I need to I can grab a breakfast bar, apple, a piece of ww bread and a hard boiled egg and I am good to go..

When I have been out of Nutrisystem bars I have used ZonePerfect bars in a pinch...

NO excuses! That's the beauty of NS! It's so darn portable! I always have breakfast at work (like to eat bfast late). A Nutrisystem pastry (Cin apple scone most of the time) or bar, an orange, and a piece of Arnold's dbl protein bread..

For lunch, a lunch bar (I like the fudge graham) and an apple. No refrigeration or micro needed. I don't get hungry or turn to salads till evening, but we're all different that way. Timing is NOT critical - except as needed to avoid the hungries. Getting it all in sometime and drinking your water every day IS..

Thankfully, I had an opportunity to run to the grocery store down the street during my lunch hour. I appreciate everyone's advice or I probably would have hit the candy dish and one day before weigh in. That wouldn't be any good now would it? The worst that happened was eating all my food at a different time. One week down at 100% for the newb! Official weigh in tomorrow morning, but I checked today to see where I was at and had lost 5lb. Yay!..
